I’ve rented a unit multiple times at this location an the customer service is great!

Miranda gave me a tour of the storage units, she was polite and courteous. The facility was well maintained and clean. I look forward to doing business with Safeguard.

I wish there were a minus-zero bottom. However, I will go with 1. I have been with Safeguard in Jamaica Queens for over two years. In the last year, I have been traveling because of family issues. I contacted the store several times and Spoke with Devon, who was very professional and pleasant. I told him I owed two months and would like to pay; however, I would like to speak with a manager. Fast forward, a new month came, making it three months. I spoke with Devon again on November 20th, stating I would call to make full payment on the 22nd. On November 19th, a bill was sent out covering all four months I would now owe. I was prepared to make full payment when I received an email stating my belongings would be auctioned off on the 22nd at 1pm. I did not see the email until 4 pm on the 22nd when I called. The district manager answered, literally chastising me, stating that he had called me and I had not answered. I asked what I could do, and he stated nothing because I did not answer my phone. They auctioned everything I had in storage, over 5000 dollars worth of belongings, for the $ 700 dollars I owed. As there is a Divine Spirit, I know this place will soon be closed and out of business for what they did. All I will say is may Jesus and the Most High Gos have mercy on their souls; they are robbing people, but they will soon reap what they sow!!.

After paying for years of storage , I recently discovered that my unit was infested with mice/rats . The are droppings everywhere! Inside the boxes , on top of boxes , all over the floor. Even in the desk drawers ! Some items that were passed on from my mom, who died 13 years ago ( baby pictures , ornaments etc ), My Christmas tree and many other valuable items were destroyed. I have an expensive custom made Ethan Allen desk that is ruined All of my Christmas decorations are ruined ! I threw the decorations and tree away ! Expensive winter coats , dresses , shoes , comforters, toys I had in storage to be sold , a large area rug, brand new shelving unit , lap tops , and the list goes on! I do not store food or anything like that in my unit. The company brushed off the complaint and told me to contact my renters insurance policy. That resolution is unacceptable! At a minimum , I'd expect them to refund what I've paid over the years . Do not store your items at this facility ! The unit is contaminated to the extent that it is a hazard to my health . It is absolutely disgusting. The company expects me to continue to pay rent for that unit . The unit needs to be dealt with ( cleaned , items removed and disposed of by a company that is knowledgeable about that type of issue ) and Safeguard storage needs to cover the cost . Even if the contract states that the company is not liable for damage , they should be liable for allowing an infestation like that to happen in the first place . I have been paying this business rent for the unit since 05/15/22. Rent to store items that need to be thrown away due to being infested with rodent poop and urine .

My parents weren’t able to get a unit here. Because unfortunately the customer service wasn’t up to part. This is for the new location in Yonkers, on Nepperhan ave. The man (George) that was there that evening also claiming to be a manager. My father went in asking if someone spoke Spanish, man said no and he said okay. My father asked if it was okay to wait in the building until my mother arrived. George told him he didn’t really care what he did and then it went down from there. George got upset because he was told that wasn’t being polite and then decided to call the cops. Kept calling him an old man and to leave.

Got a storage unit in less than an hour!! Steve was fantastic and very welcoming helped me out so much. great prices here and very clean!

The people that work in this storage facility are selling and using heroin on the third floor, they have pounds of drugs in a storage there. They lock the doors after 10 pm and they hang out in the building passing around needles getting high. Welcome to Paterson New Jersey. A supervisor at this location was arrested for child molestation

Great people make a difference and this is what we encountered at Safeguard Self Storage (#140105) at 12950 Walsingham road. Jacky went above and beyond, she was patient and accommodating, walked us through the process, provided us with options with care and professionalism. Prices are very good and they had a nice promotion which we took advantage of. No pressure sales just straightforward and honest. The place is super clean and very well maintained. We are Canadian, just sold our place and this storage came in handy. We highly recommend this place, we really do!

Warren, who works at the New Rochelle Weyman Avenue location Thursdays thru Sunday has been a huge help to me twice in the last month or two. Back in September he willingly came up the elevator the first time to help me close the gate of my unit that was jammed and stuck...and last week helped me load in and organize some heavy stuff.

Brent was super helpful and answered all my questions! I definitely chose the right place.
