I ordered and payed for a belt/disc sander on the web site payed the £6.99 shipping what the website asked for then they contacted me for another £41 delivery so i cancelled the order. Then the fun began trying to get the money refunded to my card same old story "Our team have been working off a back log due to a system error" after 5 phone calls and 10 days eventually got it back. They did have the nice jesture of £5 off my next order of £50 or more. They must be joking!!!! Never again would i use this shower of crooks. Be WARNED use a Bona Fide Tool Dealer

I bought a scroll saw and found the purchasing easy, quick and it came within a reasonable amount of time. My only issue would be....why not use Parcel Force?? (I work for Royal Mail ;) ) As it came with UK mail and there website wasn't kept up to date

Can`t pay on the website, you have to wait for them to phone you which they don`t, you have to chase them. The order then took 10 days to arrive. Disappointing as the products are good and competitively priced.

I purchased an electric cement mixer which was the cheapest on the internet. The order was dispatched the next day and delivered the day after. Could not expect any better !

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! Ordered grout bags, then order was marked as shipped, waited 2 weeks, contacted them and they told sorry this product is out of stock and we will issue a refund. So why did I waited two weeks??? But the best part is now, I waited two months for my refund, I contact them couple times and got the same response every time 'we will issue it soon'. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I purchased an item that was shown as "In Stock" on the 4th of January and paid for standard delivery (3-5 working days). 9 days later I received an email saying that the item I had ordered had been discontinued and was no longer available. After some back and forth regarding alternatives I asked for my order to be cancelled on the 14th January. On the 15th I was told the accounts department would process my cancellation and I would have a refund in the next 3-5 working days. By the 26th I had still not received any refund so emailed again, copying in the accounts email address and customer services. I was assured that a reminder email would be sent and this would be processed in 48 hours (28th January). On the 28th January, still without a refund I opened a paypal claim. This seemed to speed things up. 29th January @ 09:52 I opened the dispute with paypal, 09:56 I escalated this to a claim due to previous emails and still no refund. 10:13 my paypal claim was closed as they'd issued me a full refund through paypal. The speed at which they were able to issue the refund through paypal was amazing, it took the whole of 17 minutes once paypal was involved for them to refund me, despite 14 days of emails and requests for refunds. They obviously just want to hold your money for as long as possible. In summary, I'd advise that everything is paid for through paypal, and at the first sight of trouble, open a case to ensure things are dealt with swiftly. Poor customer service and generally just an inconvenience. It's a shame as I have used them before but this time has really put me off.

I have made several purchases from tool-net and have always received good service and quick delivery. Best prices too. I'll keep going back to tool-net.
