United Kingdom | 30 May 2017The prices are good, but customer service is non existent. I tried to contact to cancel an order by emailing (as the website says) and calling solidly for two days. But, the item was still delivered. Finally after sending another couple of emails I was emailed back at 0100hrs (funny time for a business?), saying I needed to return at my own cost and any refund would be less initial postage costs. If the company had been reachable and it was down to me I wouldn't mind, but the company was un-reachable. In this day and age of internet shopping, this is unacceptable. If you want to take a gamble for a cheap price, then fair enough. But if you are worried about having issues or expect customer service on any level, then avoid!

United Kingdom | 25 May 2017Satisfied with delivery performance and products (albeit one 'own label' item was zero stock and no longer manufactured) but it would help greatly if emails acknowledging orders and/or notifying shipment were to detail what the item or items is or are. The order number isn't informative and even when following the link to "My Orders", there are no details of thecgoods and it is necessary to click yet another link before being clear what is being referred to. The ideal, of course, is to show a thumbnail photograph as Amazon does.

United Kingdom | 22 May 2017I ordered a Clarke compressor on Saturday for £500 odd and got an email today asking for an extra £65 for postage. But I paid £6 odd at check out. In all the years I have been buying online I have never been contacted after asking for moor money so maybe it is time for you to look at your checkout postage scheme. as most of your one star complaints are down to this. Why would you have postage at check out when you know you will be asking for moor. If I was aware of this £65 I would never of ordered it. I have been trying to contact you all day to sort out a refund but got no where how can you run a company with just email and only a phone for payment of postage and Evan that is impossible to speak to some one on Any way could you please sort me out with my refund? As I am not willing to pay an additional £65 If you do have a phone number that’s not just for postage payment please could you post it or call me back Thank you

United Kingdom | 17 May 2017Buyer beware. Automated email advising you may be charged extra for over weight item should warn you whats coming next. With a 30kg limit you would think you would be safe for a product they advise you weighs 19kg. Heavy duty packaging obviously as they insist on extra £21 before my goods are dispatched. Really poor experience and I would never trust these guys again. Add all the additional dispatch costs and it works out way more expensive than anyone else.

On payment there was a list of delivery options to with weight and size, but seeing as they dont list the weight of the pruduct I was buying or how many parcels it would be shipped in how the heck are you supposed to know what delivery option to click on !. So the next day I received an email saying I click the wrong option and they now wanted another £5.99 to deliver the item. After a discussion they wavered the extra charge. But then proceeded to just lie to me for 2 weeks and then phone me and say it's not in stock and would have to wait another week !!!! No Thanks !! WONT BE USING YOU EVER AGAIN !!!! I WOULD RECOMEND BUILDER DEPOT. 10/10 communication 10/10 price 10/10 speed of delivery and no lies !!!!!
