I have lived for the past six years in this development managed by Charles White. I have experience of living in flats managed by companies like Charles White both in Britain and in France. Charles White and its staff have been easily the best management company in my experience. Telephone calls and emails are answered promptly and efficiently and always with great courtesy. We have an owners' committee and a senior representative of the company attends them regularly. I am always impressed by her detailed knowledge of our development and her sympathy for the problems of individuals. She is also very well-informed about the changing requirements of legislation in relation to our property. I am a very satisfied customer.

Robyn could not have been more helpful regarding a query about the building structure. She provided prompt and efficient information and service. Highly recommended.

*UPDATE 2024* Brackenwood (Ballyclare) have now replaced Charles White as managing agents for our development. For anyone reading this they offer an incomapably better level of service for the same price. Since being appointed in early 2023 they have turned up on time and all work has been carried out to a high standard. The complete opposite exerience that we had with CWL. ------ CWL acted as the managing agents for our small group of houses here in Northern Ireland. The landscaping work was hit and miss up until the start of lockdown but since April 2020 absolutely nothing has been done. The whole area is in now in a dreadful state - overgrown with weeds and it needs serious attention. We had expected that CWL would appoint a new landscaping contractor after lockdown as they had taken the full fees throughout the period. Instead they announced they were stepping down as managing agents and have walked away from it.

I’ve worked with Charles White now for a good few years. The guys in the office are very easy to work with and friendly. The guys that do the site inspections are also easy to work with Craig,Neil and Jim. Good work guys!

Charles White have been very responsive and professional in their dealings with our development, particularly Karly Dewland who spends a lot of time and effort resolving queries and keeping residents happy.

Have had quite a few issues since moving into my apartment, however having dealt with Paul Sanders these issues have been resolved in a professional manner. He has arranged meetings to discuss how improvements can be made and always follows them up promptly.

Following on from the difficulties caused by COVID, Robyn Rae has been excellent in her prompt response to any issues that have arisen and makes every effort to resolve them whether they be large or small. The recent example of the management of a complete exterior paint contract where she engaged directly with interested owners, is a fine example.

Always superb communication & a speedy response from the team in Belfast. I have needed information/clarification on a couple of occasions (moving in & moving out) which is always dealt with instantly. I would also say that the mark of a good business is when anyone who can help takes ownership irrespective of position or responsibility. CW provides factoring services to our block of flats. I have been interacting with them for over 10 years now. They have always been extremely reliable and supportive regarding all matters of ordinary (and extraordinary) maintenance. Recently, we have had issues with unauthorised access, and Robyn has promptly dealt with the matter and arranged a solution. I would strongly recommend them as factoring agents.

We are a small apartment block on the south side of Edinburgh which has been factored by Charles White for over twenty years. Over that period there have been many client relationship managers, probably more than we would have liked. In the last seven years during which I have been the Factor contact for the residents, there have been five or six changes which is not good. In all cases, each individual has looked after us well but it seems that they keep moving on to other organisations. Robyn Rae now looks after us very well indeed and attends to our various requests efficiently backed by a good team. One area that does not come up to standard is Accounts. We always seem to have issues there, some of which take too long to be rectified. Having said that, overall we are happy with the service we receive from Charles White in Edinburgh.

I have lived in a number of different flats and I have to say of all the factors I have dealt with Charles White has been easily the best. They are so helpful and quick to respond. Robyn Rae has been managing the flat for a few years now and she is very efficient and understanding of my issues!

I am very impressed with the service I have received from Jamie Allardice. He is approachable and a joy to correspond with. He replies to my emails promptly, usually within the hour, and always keeps me updated on any progress relative to my query or concern. He deals with any repair and maintenance issues without delay, most recently on a security issue to make our stairwell safe. He has also managed to obtain a majority of votes to instruct P4 Parking to patrol our car park. Now for the first time in many years we have no problems parking! He is an asset to the company.
