United Kingdom | 13 July 2024Their fees are aggressive, a demand for a full years fees and part payment from a legacy company which I had no notice of. Total is £100 in fees and altogether £500 due immediately. I reviewed their forecast, there is around £700 to cut grass a year which is the only requirement of a small estate and it takes £6000 to do it. That makes no sense, the bulk of the money is to hold, you’ll never have this money back if unused. Management companies need regulation, we are charged for services we never signed up to when buying. I’m actually being asked to insure lamp posts now, 10 years after buying my house.. I’ve never heard of this before. NIE own them, why would I pay to insure a lamp post and utilities which are owned by the relevant authorities such as NI water etc?

They have no interest in owners and have no reasonable excuses as to why their costs are so much higher than other similar developments in our ares. Check out CW at Companies House and they no substance and could basically disappear at any time. Very few directors and virtually no capital. Yet, we at Powderhall Village still won’t take action to get rid of them

Any issues raised by me have always been speedily dealt with. I would pariculary like to praise Paul Sanders who is generally my first port of call. He is friendly, professional and supportive. He goes that extra mile in order to ensure that you are happy. Would happily recommend.

United Kingdom | 31 May 2024Contacted Charles white as realised that they had charged us £100 in late fees for not setting up a direct debit within 2 weeks as they have now went from quarterly to yearly(just realised this recently). I’m a working mum and don’t have time to check their app every other day🙄We have been paying factors for years and always made a payment. ALTHOUGH we live in a house and all “issues” that are causing these payments are around the flats and maintenance of them. The houses gain absolutely nothing from paying these fees….but we still paid them regardless. After not noticing things had changed we had a court action letter sent through our door and that’s how we knew something has changed. No phone call or nothing! Contacted Charles white as soon as we could but they had already added on £100 in late fees(within 2weeks) Called them and the woman was absolutely shocking!! Did not care and just wanted off the phone. Only way to resolve is Citizens Advice and local MSP as they are not willing to listen or help, they just want the money for people!!
