United Kingdom | 24 March 2022Well, my heating timer programme started messing around so I contacted Seven to see if they can sort out the issue. To be honest they managed to get a contractor out to see me in under 24hours and get the job done. I have to say Emma worked continuously to figure out what the issue and how it can be fixed as soon as possible. She was very communicative and also understanding so I would like to thank her for putting up with me and also the contractors that came and done the job. Now I’m a happy man again because I get hot water again.

United States | 19 January 2022In full support of the review written by Peter Mark - we experienced 'exactly' the same. We committed and purchased while working overseas and, from our own experience, would advice others not to do so. Seven does not have the systems in place to support the overseas customer through the complications of purchasing, yet alone the mortgage complications created by a global pandemic. As completion date loomed and our mortgage agreement in process but not yet finalised, Customer 'Service' were quick to send out emails - with a distinct threat that we would lose the apartment and the deposit should we not complete on time; support, patience and an understanding of the afore mentioned challenges would have been appreciated. These letters only served to add to the stress of completion. Having since communicated with other customers (those working in the air industry back in the UAE), we now know we were not the sole recipient of such communications and service. As it is, we did complete and we do have an apartment. We only hope the value increases to cover the outlay (far more than that presented to us by the Seven Capital representative in his sales pitch, when we first committed to the purchase 3-4 years ago - see Peter Mark's review - plus the extremely high apartment service charges that were never mentioned). No need for Customer Service to respond with a shallow 'sorry to hear you are dissatisfied'. The mark of a great company is not the service provided when things are going well, or a shallow response after the event of 'sorry to hear this, we take all our customer concerns seriously', but rather the level of service and care provided when there are challenges. I am happy to share our experience, start to finish, in more detail, with anyone who wishes to search for me online.

United Kingdom | 29 December 2021My off-plan purchase with Seven Capital turned into a nightmare very quickly in 2019. I was fortunate enough to be earning a high salary and able to pay whatever the cost to secure a mortgage to complete the transaction. The two properties I purchased were severely miss-sold; purchase price was 12% above market valuation and rental yield is off by 31%. I am currently stuck with properties with negative equity and high service cost. For context: 5k Reservation Fee 6k Furniture Pack (overpriced) 5k Legal Fee 84k Deposit (30% of purchase price) 25k Additional deposit (paid to lenders to secure a 70% mortgage) 7% Projected Yield 4.8% Actual Yield Seven Capital have also sold off the buildings to estate management companies ridding themselves of the behemoth they created. I will not be investing with Seven Capital again and I would advise anyone thinking of plunging their money with them to rethink and make sure to do your own market research.
