Buying my first new-built was not quite so smooth due to many factors beyond my control. I was under immense pressure to complete and during that time i was very grateful for the immeasurable help provided by Natalie Howlings, customer services at Seven Capital, for making sure the legal formalities proceeded without delay. Natalie was co-operative, always on the ball and above all has a pleasing personality. I was so glad when the purchase finally completed.

I purchased a property from Seven Capital in Birmingham for an investment purpose. The process was smooth and was up to the mark as I also work for a property development company. But the completion process was a highlight, where I was assisted by Natalie Howlings before the completion of the property. The assistance I received in terms of the lending process & agent, furnishings, Tolet agent intro and her personal follow-ups it was all outstanding. Being a non-resident in the UK it was quite stressful to arrange everything and especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, where travel was not possible. I sincerely thank Natalie for all the assistance I received with a personal touch and without her, it must have been very stressful.

Honestly wouldn't recommend anyone to move in here. The price of rent per month is incredibly steep for the services they offer. Not to mention the issues we've had. Cars being stolen, bikes being stolen, parcels being stolen, people getting into the building, all this and after almost a year they still haven't installed a single security camera. Parking confusion, some flats told their bay number is their flat number, others told completely different number. Cars being keyed also. Not to mention the apartments themselves, was promised free WiFi, which I got.. however at 2mbps download speed it's unusable. Furnished apartment with the cheapest furniture imaginable, my sofa fell apart within 1 week of being here. Then there's the heat, as soon as the temperature goes over 25° the flats are unlivable, they have a "fresh air system" which does nothing but blows hot air throughout your apartment making it even more unbearable, if you stand under one of the vents, you will feel the air coming out of it which I can only describe as "warm syrup". I'm convinced that the air system has just completely stopped working now, as once upon a time it seemed to work much better. Not to mention random un arranged visits from people wanting in your apartment with no warning whatsoever. Once had a guy basically force his way in my apartment to check the seals on the ceiling, and with no prior warning, along with no covid protocol it made me feel very uneasy. Oh also I should mention the electric bill, I think it may be the useless fresh air system causing this huge bill, but you can expect to pay around £150 a month on electric for a studio flat. My previous 3 bedroom house with 3 people living there was ~£70 a month. The only plus I would give is that the apartments themselves are relatively nice inside, newly built and the finish is good.

Had to request a repair service at my flat - reported to SevenCapital online and the aftercare coordinator Emma Loth has been very helpful, acting quickly upon the request and being very responsive to my emails. The repair service was quick and good as well.

All about the money. All they care about is money and not how their tenants are treated. We have had so many issues and nothing gets sorted after numerous reports and if it does they will just randomly turn up with no warning. And when they do send someone it’s a plumber to fix and electrical issue! Not only this but random people turn up to ‘check’ without any warning (e.g check the meter) so you don’t have any idea if they’re safe to let in or not. I don’t feel safe living here, we can’t wait to move out.

Seven capital are big scammers please stay away. Their properties are highly over priced and that's the reason they collect huge upfront deposit. It is not possible to find a lender with these unreasonable prices and eventually they take away your huge deposit money. We lost our deposit and they denied to refund.

All this company cares about is money. Complete disregard for all of the tenants once the deal is done. They choose to ignore serious issues including massive health and safety breaches. They are a nightmare to get hold of, however if they need money from you they are on the ball. Disgrace of a company, can't wait to move out! Will never use this company again, absolutely appalling.

Caroline Ellis has been so helpful during the purchase of my property. Purchasing from abroad can be really stressful with time differences between communications etc...She always called me to chat rather having to have emails back and forth which I really appreciated. Caroline gave me heads ups during the process. Very grateful for this service!
