I recently took possession of my new flat in Birmingham. This review relates to my handover experience, and is about a member of staff, Emma Billingham, and not the firm Seven Capital. Emma was extremely professional. It was clear from the moment she arrived that she has an excellent grasp of the handover process. She was able to answer, and even anticipate, my every question. Her preparation was meticulous and she had all the imaginable paperwork as supporting material. She was able to come down to my 'first time buyer' level and provide exactly the sort of information, assurances and guidance that I needed. Perhaps even more important for me was her friendly demeanour. No question seemed too stupid. She took great care, and time, to cover every single aspect of the property and the management process. I got the feeling that she genuinely cares about new owners and is passionate about her job, despite having to do an enormous number of handovers in such a short timeframe. Emma's positivity and attention to detail left me enormously reassured and even excited after months of Seven Capital delays. I can safely say that she single-handedly manage to reverse all of the negative impressions and experiences that I had had. She is an excellent asset and Seven Capital should be immensely glad to have her on their books.

Great experience purchasing from Seven Capital. I have just completed on my wife and I’s second apartment , one in Regency Place and today’s in Summer House at St George Urban Village in Birmingham. Caitlin Mac Donald was very helpful and kept us informed regarding completion and handover. Katie Goad also helped us with furnishing the Regency Place apartment. From meeting John Treacy the international sales director at a real estate exhibition, all the way to receiving the keys to the apartment ( one furnished by SC ) has been smooth and hassle free and no surprises, which is very important as an overseas buyer. The Summer House apartment too longer than expected yet that was explained to us that both because of size of the St George Urban Village and the harsh winter experienced and on reflection , I would rather they took there time without rushing the build only for issues to arise later on. I highly recommend purchasing from Seven Capital. Wishing them all the best for the future projects.

David Bailey at SevenCapital has dealt with the furnishing of our new apartment at Summer House SGUV and has made the process thoroughly enjoyable and professional. He took the time to visit the apartment, measure and recommend the interior pack as well as organising the fitting of blinds throughout the apartment and delivery / setting up of furniture throughout and advising on the right specification of furniture which will make the apartment feel contemporary and comfortable to live in. A really good service and great experience.

In August 2019, I and my husband rented a flat in the SevenCapital Churchill Place building in Basingstoke. Less than a month after we settled in, our flat ceiling started leaking and getting moulded, so we reported the issue to SevenCapital, in accordance with the 2-year defect warranty of the building. However, after almost a month already, this issue has not been solved by SevenCapital, who only managed to arrange a plumber making a big hole in the ceiling, where water continues to leak from now and impose serious health hazards related to the open access to insulation, mould, dampness, excess moisture and leakage of dirty water coming from the pipes connected to toilets, bathrooms, etc. of our neighbours. Plus, I am currently pregnant and scheduled to deliver a baby in 10 days, which the company is aware of but nevertheless the issue is still on-going, for almost a month, which threatens the health of both me and the baby. SevenCapital sent a repairment team who worked on the issue and reported that they rectified it today. However, the water started leaking again and it turned out the problem has not been solved. To sum up, living in the SevenCapital Churchill Place building for less than 3 months has already caused us significant stress, extremely unhealthy environment to live in as well as huge disappointment.

Just about to complete on my first ever new build. It has taken a lot longer than i had expected, but that's the nature of new builds, as you are unable to predict what and where we will be in 2 years time. Have had a thoroughly professional experience with seven Capital from start to finish. Initially we dealt with Maria Simpson from the sales team, who was absolutely fantastic. We were able to view the build part way through and Maria even invited us down to Birmingham last year for a personal tour of the city and the other Seven Capital builds. Towards the end of the build we had a few delays to the build, due to council regulations and unforeseen technical problems, but we were kept apprised about the situation by Sharon Plevin in the after sales team. She would call us regularly and this made a world of difference. Finally, but in no ways least, i'd like to thank Katie Goad in the Interiors Team. She helped us massively when selecting the furniture for the new apartment. Based on her knowledge and previous experience with the city, we were able to select the furniture accurately, based on the type of client we hope to attract. All in all, a very professional experience. Thanks guys :-)

I'm in the process of purchasing property at Dayus House through Seven Capital. Although delays on the project have been extremely frustrating the service, updates by Seven have been exemplary. We used the interior package and Katie Goad assisted us through the process. Provided helpful recommendations and ensured everything was completed on time and was responsive. Although the Churchill Place development schedule slipped on several occasions, I’m very happy with the finished product and have had excellent service from Seven Capital staff along the way. I would specifically like to mention 2 particular members of their staff who have gone out of their way to be helpful. Sophie Gwynne in the sales team was a pleasure to deal with and has changed my previous perception of property sales people through her professionalism and supportive approach to closing the deal. More recently, Katie Goad in the Interiors and Furniture team has been extremely responsive in getting blinds installed and is now expediting the furnishing of the apartment to meet the specific needs of a new tenant. I am a very satisfied customer!

Very poor customer service. The project delivery date delayed by 16 months. At completion, services charges were increased significantly compared to the original nembers shared during exchange.
