Although I prefer booking sites where I see the price immediately and make a booking (or not) Edlets very nearly makes up for the extra time factor with their efficiency in quoting prices and their personal service. They are particularly helpful if you’re looking for accommodation for a group - perfect for people bringing a play to the Fringe. They were utterly brilliant when I took a school production a couple of years ago. There are quicker sites if you just want a few nights in Edinburgh for a two or three guests.

Loved the way you worked. I sent an enquiry what we were looking for and within 2 h there were couple of offers. The proceeding with the booking was fast and without any fuss.

Great selection of properties and staff were friendly and helpful over the phone. Making the booking was very easy to complete online. Each property meeting your requirements is sent as a separate email. It would be nicer of these were combined. The emails also contain the quoted price but when clicking the link to view the description online, the price disappears making it tougher to compare. I found the call centre to be a little too overzealous after making an enquiry with follow up calls being far too frequent and multiple voicemails left.

Quick and efficient service with loads of choices provided at various budgets. Only issue was they said the owner would contact me after i'd paid the deposit. They weren't aware of the booking! All sorted with little fuss

Easy to use, and I liked the way I was phoned after contacting them to make sure I got the emails. The website itself could maybe look a bit prettier, and have a "book now" button rather than just sending an enquiry, but they're minor quibbles.

Coming up to Edinburgh for EYF and visiting relatives but decided to go self catering this time. Found Edlets quite quickly. They had a large array of properties for us to chose from, all appropriate to our needs and varying in price. We found what we hope will be a wonderful apartment. We had a couple of queries which they were able to deal with very quickly. We would most definitely use them when we come back, even if its only for a couple of days, and would not hesitate to recommend their service.
