Vet Approved Rx is very convenient once you set up the account. Setting up the account is also very easy. I needed to buy a prescription dry cat food for one of my cats who has Urinary issues. I chose to order online instead of paying a higher cost at my vet. By ordering online, I also save time and fuel by not having to travel to my vet. At first set-up, you indicate the prescription and vet info., and Vet Approved Rx will even contact your vet to obtain the prescription. After that, all you have to do is log in for reorders, and they have all info saved, making the process very quick. Shipping is also very fast.

Excellent price and service especially if you take advantage of free shipping, but plan ahead, like most vendors free shipping means your order doesn't ship until a few days after it is received by them.

i had a bit of the issue with my vet would not approve the RX over the fax (she does not trust internet providers) but she was OK to give me the RX on hand instead. VetApprovedRX needed the original RX since they only accept faxes directly from the vet offices so i had to hassle to mail it in BUT 4 days after mailing RX in i got notification that my order was on my way. Overall turnaround was 2 weeks. My only issue - no one called me asking to mail the original. VetApprovedRX probably should have contacted me telling me there is a problem. I was waiting on RX to be confirmed by vet. I did not know there was a problem. Good thing i had to come to the vet for an appt on unrelated issue to learn she did not approve it by fax
