Deep dissatisfaction with the level of service I received when attempting to cancel our service. It took an exasperating six weeks and numerous attempts before someone finally responded to my email, which is highly unacceptable

From the first contact via a web based form, i had a reply within a very short time. What i liked was that the same person, Bobby became my contact. He called me and gave me all the info of how the process worked. I said i needed time to think, and with no pressure he called me back a week later. We have just had the first batch of data collected, the driver was very helpful and polite, and we soon had the data on the lorry and shredded. I highly recommend their service.

Used to offer a very good service, over a number of years, but this time it took weeks to get booked in and then they didn’t even turn up on the day booked! Very frustrating.

I wish I could give this company zero stars because they don't even deserve one. Our experience with them has been an absolute nightmare, and it's not just about their incompetence; it's about putting our company's GDPR compliance at risk. Where to begin? Still being billed for a weekly collection that was cancelled in January, emailed our accounts manager and customer support multiple times but have not had a single response regarding the matter. Arranged for a new weekly collection at the same time but for the past month a collection has not taken place with no prior warning. Despite multiple emails it took over 2 weeks to receive a reply, at which point our bins were overflowing with confidential waste. I was told it would be a further 2 weeks before a collection would take place and when I alerted them to the fact that our bins where overflowing they arranged for a one off collection which did not take place. I emailed them to explain why the scheduled collection did not take place, but again I am still waiting for a response. When I finally heard back from our accounts manager their response was to send over some additional bags that we could use in the mean time. When I alerted them to the fact that we did not have a secure location to store these additional bags in accordance with GDPR I was simply told that there would be no vans in my area until the following week and that this was the best they could do. Imagine my surprise to seeing a van the very next day in my area but still no collection took place. The repercussions of their negligence are unimaginable. Not only have they jeopardized our clients' trust and confidentiality, but they've also put us at risk of facing hefty fines for violating GDPR regulations. It's an absolute disgrace. In conclusion, steer clear of this shredding company if you value your company's integrity and GDPR compliance. They are not only incompetent but also reckless with sensitive information. Save yourself the trouble and find a reputable shredding service that takes data security seriously.

There was a mix up with the number of bags being collected, and instead of the 60 on the original order there was closer to 200. The guys who attended were professional and keen to help to get the bags collected, and went above and beyond to get the order kept. I have to shout out to Paul, Pavlov and Jose who were the men who attended, not once did they complain or moan about the extra work - in fact they were very well natured. I also have to say thank you to Dave (I think) and Lauren who were the boss at the yard and the sales rep respectively for working together to agree the lifting of the bags. All in all a situation that could have been a headache instead was a 5 star experience. I cannot thank your workers enough (sorry if I have the wrong names for any of them - I didn't ask when they were here)

Bobby @ Shred-it was brilliant. I put in a query through the website and I had a call from Bobby within 2 hours. He arranged everything made it really simple, bags arrived a couple days later. We filled the bags and then I just called Shred-it again and Bobby was on hand to organise the collection which happened exactly as I was told it would. Excellent service, I would highly recommend using Shred-it!!

Would Give 0 Stars if I could! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! We have had non stop issues with them since the beginning. they renew the contract without a reminder when we had asked to end the contact in emails and over the phone a few months before. They are meant to shred on site, they wouldn't drive down our road on most resent collection, said the van would not fit, but it has ever other time for the last 5 years plus. No other van has ever had an issue, always get the the property. Also came on the incorrect day with no warning so the person in the office didn't not know that the contact says to shred on site, they took total advantage of this and got them to sign even though they were not the person that deals with shred it collections. Shred it took the documents by hand a walked down the road to where we could not even see the van (around a 5 min walk away!) Contact is to shred on site. Customer service is terrible, we get ignored for weeks/month at a time. Reply's are short and rude. they do not care about their customers at all! we agreed a new price months ago however the last 5/6 collections have been charges at double this amount. Worst company we have even dealt with! do not make the mistake we have made and put trust in shred it!!

Incorrect billing for job. No up front communication regarding hidden surcharges. Initial appointment was cancelled at the end of the day of the appointment with no warning. New invoice has not been reissued despite multiple requests. Simple job is now eating admin time. What a waste.
