Dealt with by Rhiannon who responded immediately to requests, kept me informed on all actions taken and outstanding, offered advice and alternatives without angst and made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. Shred-It would do well to keep this individual and a reward would not be unjustified as the Customer Service I received was second to none and a welcome change in the current business climate.

The Sales Exec - Bobby Walker, who dealt with my enquiry was exceptionally helpful and responded to any queries straight away. I wouldn't hesitate to use Shred-It for your confidential waste.

United Kingdom | 15 June 2023On multiple occasions Shred-It were due to collect from our office and said they tried to access our building and "no one answered" - despite us waiting in the office for them to arrive. They charged us for these failed collections siting it was our fault, yet when we provided evidence that we were in the office and no attempt to contact us or enter the building was made, their customer services team basically ignored us. They claimed the driver tried to contact us, and whilst we could prove they didn't, they couldn't prove the driver did. Time would pass and then again they chased for payment, and we would attempt to contact both customer services and finance to dispute the invoices, and again would be ignored, until they chased us for payment again. It's clear that internal teams don't speak to each other. We tried to resolve this for two years and then this week, they threaten us with a debt collector. This is despite the fact that we have paid every other legitimate invoice for 2 years when a service has been provided. As a small business, we felt threatened into paying as we aren't in Shred-It's luxury position to pay court fees. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

United Kingdom | 15 June 2023BULLY SMALL BUSINESSES - TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION - INVOICE ILLEGALLY - STAY AWAY! Well where do I start...from reading other reviews it seems that a few people have had similar experiences to ours, so it's clearly something they think is acceptable as a business. They invoiced for services that did not happen, citing that the driver 'couldn't get access to the property' EVEN THOUGH WE WERE LITERALLY WAITING FOR THEM TO ARRIVE. We have tried to contest it many times, they keep saying they're looking into it, they stop replying, then they chase the payment. Then we contest it again, and the cycle begins again. Their communication is terrible - their accounts team clearly don't speak to their customer service team. We have been going round in circles for TWO YEARS trying to get this resolved - bearing in mind we have continued to pay on time and in full for all other collections since then which did happen. This week we received a threatening legal letter demanding payment - for invoices which should not have been raised in the first place. I shall be reporting them for this practice - surely it's illegal. STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS AWFUL COMPANY
