The person who called gave me a quote of $80 and when she transferred me to the expert he increased it $300!!! LOL!!

Very high quotes. Unacceptable.

After the online quote submission, a representative called to follow up on the quote, and the quote was adjusted for the CAA Member discount. I was then connected to my current insurance broker to discuss getting quotes from CAA Insurance when my current policy expires with the CAA membership discount.

I was very appy with the gal who helped me with a quote, I asked that she e-mail me the quote, she did but I was expecting what coverage the quote was for. I need my nisurance today(Fri. Aug 18) to get my vehicle and I do not have it. This is unacceeptable, I expected a copy of what the policy will cover.

I got in touch with Rates.ca & their mortgage agent Alexey Fedortsov (Mortgage Agent | Ratehub.ca reached out to me. As a newcomer first time buyer, I have had my questions one of the question out of curiosity that I asked to him is why you cannot share rates on email, I just wanted to know the reason and I was not asking him to put the rates on email. To which he responded saying - Hi XXX, We aren't sharing rates, as rates do change on daily basis and sometime hourly too. Plus, I am dealing with competitive situation, why would I send you quote with an actual rate so you can go back to your broker? I know I can get this rate- and if you are serious about working with me- let's proceed. If not that's cool too. thanks Alexey Fedortsov Mortgage Agent | Ratehub.ca __ I found his response to be in bad taste because in my previous email to him I explained that I am first time newcomer homebuyer and I have questions. After his rudeness - I told him, I will rather pay more, than dealing with someone who has this attitude towards his potential client. To which he replied again thinking and justifying that he explained everything to me on a call that last for like 10-15min.
