I am really pleased with this option for membership of my local club. Easy to sign up and flexible enough for me to not feel i have wasted my hard earned money.

Service great but my club has almost doubled the points in their matrix. Therefore it does not make it economically viable for me. If the points do not change, I will not join with playmoregolf next year.

So far this has been a really positive experience for me trying to get back in to golf in an affordable and sensible manner. Also looking forward to being able to use my flex points at another venue.

Play More Golf. Great idea son is back for the Summer from St Andrews where he plays as a student. He wants to play a few games with me his dad but although i enjoy golf I only have limited time. I bought two introductory memberships £79 x 2 = 40 points. Which we buddy on. If we use the points we will buy more. We have three local clubs to play at.

I like the idea, and have played my home course twice already, but will have to play almost every round after 1600hrs as for much of the day it would cost 10 points to play earlier. It will therefore not be easy to find groups to join, as they all tend to play earlier. Having said that it will be good value over the year as long as I play late afternoons.

Excellent arrangement. My partner and I work full time and can only fit one round of golf on a weekend, and hardly ever through the week. This scheme allows us to play on a top class course for a third of the standard membership, and it suits us really well, as we don't have the free time for full club membership.

Excellent and fast response to queries. Answers in plain simple terms. Would I recommend Play More Golf - most certainly as superb value for money giving me the opportunity of not only playing golf at my home club in Scotland but so many more in England simply by using my flexi away points from my membership.

Don’t bother. App is full of “system errors” and the customer service is even worse Rubbish

I recently contacted Sean Bailey the professional at my home course Wirral GC as I had a minor problem with renewal that couldn’t be resolved on the PMG website. On my behalf he made contact with PMG and I was called by Jess Burke, a customer service advisor from PMG who fully understood my issue and within a few hours all was resolved. Thanks to Sean and Jess I am able to continue on my existing matrix and look forward to many more enjoyable hours on the course 🏌️‍♂️

Did a lot of research around clubs in the area before joining Playmoregolf. Playmore golf offered a convenient, affordable and hassle free opportunity to join a club. So far very impressed with the booking system and availability of tee times. Keep up the good work, please.

I can’t seem to keep PMG out of my inbox all the time they are asking for something like a needy puppy that’s just defecated on the carpet and now wants more food... “Pay now and we’ll give you some points.” What they mean is they’ll let you keep last years you couldn’t used as the courses were shut. “Please review us”, “you’re close to losing your points”, “you’re not allowed to play in club comps now you’ve paid”. The concept of PMG is good. Makes a lot of sense financially for the golfer and the club. The way it’s run is somewhat floored. Customer service is nonexistent if you’re asking for help but if you’re asking to pay it’s like chatting to your nan over a biscuit. If there was a company offering the same deal but more money I would 100% pay that over this PMG. The Facebook Members page is like North Korea, Kim Jong is sat the in PMG towers making sure only positive posts they can answer are allowed. If you say you was unhappy with something the post is declined, the comments are deleted and we’ll all pretend it never happened.

The concept is great. Their next improvement must be to allow an option of booking tee times alone. At the moment when the app shows a free tee time you could end up playing with others. Golf is social and most of the time that’s fine. But other times you just want to play alone or with your 2 ball.

The correct fit for me. PMG is ideal for mid week/ off peak golf at some great clubs. I gave 4 stars as I would like the “away” points top up to be offered at the same “home” top up cost.

Excellent staff for set up. Very easy to use for the non tech folk of the world.

Highly recommend this scheme - much cheaper and more flexible than joining a golf club in the traditional way.
