My husband and I requested an extension to our membership that was due to expire March 31st as we had 95 points left between us that we had been unable to use due to course closures. The response that I got from this company was for us sort it out ourselves with our local course. We won’t be renewing!

United Kingdom | 02 April 2021Having been unable to use all my points due to lockdown, Playmore golf stated they would not extend my membership beyond the expiry date, which was before lockdown reopened unless l rejoined, which due to work commitments is not possible and l have therefore lost 7 rounds of golf

United Kingdom | 02 April 2021When I took out my membership, there was a code, MAR12, which I was offered which was for an extra 10 points. The code was rejected when I entered it. I wrote an email to playmoregolf asking for clarification and whether the points could be added; they didn't respond. Poor, poor service.

I nearly came to work for you once unfortunately travel was too far but as I said then I think it is a no brainer. Nice to see Eddie Bullock is behind you. Perfect for me as offers flexibility with me working shifts and as I’m just starting to properly take up golf gives me the chance to play regularly without breaking the bank.

United Kingdom | 25 March 2021I have been a PMG member for nearly 3 years now, for me so far it has worked out really well. Great for working people when they cant commit to peak time golf. Responses from PMG for any issues have been pretty good, especially when they have been often out of their control. For those who have complained about not getting extensions due to covid, I understand that, but full members have it worse as they lose more value due to not playing, but at least on the PMG system you can carry over if you renew so you don't lose a penny. My only gripe is that if a club gets busy, and the last 12 months they have all gone crazy busy, then PMG members start to suffer as they sell more full memberships. The club I play at club decided we cant play Sat mornings, and then Sun mornings as well. And after lockdown we was restricted at the start to allow their members full access. And I do wonder, what happens if a club decides to drop out of the scheme what happens to all your points? After speaking to customer services, and my home club, looks like they have increased the points/prices massively for my upcoming renewal!! I now have 3 weeks only to try and use up a whole years points ( impossible for me) as I wont be renewing, really disappointing.
