We needed a dog sitter for over the holidays and I was worried it would be difficult to find. Found a stellar sitter without any issues and the site was so easy to use. Will definitely use this again!

There was a glitch in the reservation system for me and when I called customer service the young man I worked with was very intuitive in trying to figure out the issue. Rather than speaking from a script or going through a list of issues he took time to think about the problem and figured it out. It was a real departure from most other customer service experiences. The service of DogVacay itself was also lifesaving since we needed a dog sitter over the holiday weekend at the last minute. It worked out great for us with a fantastic sitter.

I used DogVacay for the 1st time last week for the New Year's holiday and I have to say it was a great experience for us and for our dog whom we placed with a great person who lives near us and focuses on senior dog care. Our dog enjoyed his vacation and got to socialize with other dogs wihich he doesn't normally do. We got peace of mind knowing that he was safe and well-cared for. I definitely plan to use DogVacay again and would highly recommend it to other pet owners as a great resource for obtaining high quality dog care with reputable providers.

Our dog Cookie just had another great experience with Brandt. She enjoyed playing with the other dogs, and appreciated claiming the deluxe spot in the house. Brandt goes out of his way to accommodate us, communicates frequently, and takes wonderful care of Cookie. She has such a good time that it's a wonder she will even come home. I highly recommend!

Some hosts respond quicker than others - naturally. I think perhaps if DogVacay developed some sort of reward program to incentivize those who respond in a timely fashion, that may increase the response rates across the board. Same for keeping their calendars updated.

I have had the opportunity to visit the home where my dog is staying and he is happy and comfortable in his surroundings. His caregiver is accomidating and shares with me, on a weekly basis, how he is doing. I couldn't have found a better place for him to be while he waits for me to find our perfect home. The sign up and search for a sitter for our beloved pup was absolutely painless. Found and got into contact with a suitable sitter within one day and we had our meet-and-greet within 3 days. We needed to place our Sophie for 12 days so making sure that she and the sitter were compatable was importantant to everyone. Now we have someone to care for Sophie when friends are not available and we are very very happy with DogVacay.

I could not have asked for better care than my two border collies received over Christmas! The online process to find a sitter was simple as well as paying for the service! My sitter also sent photos during their stay! I'm very timid about leaving my puppies with just anybody & the sitter picked up on that anxiety & was very reassuring! I would use the service again in a heartbeat!!

Nancy worked very flexibly with us to find a time to meet, drop off and pick up. She sent us a text mid-trip to show us that our dog was outside walking with her. Nancy knows dogs and her enjoyment of pets, matched our enjoyment of our Auggie.

Denise is absolutely the greatest, she updates your dogs activities several times a day, and follows up with photos, when we are away it gives us such a secure feeling. Once you meet Denise you can see she has a genuine love of all animals . I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a caring person to look after your animal call and consider Denise
