Great service and great steaks.

I wifi start by saying I only gave them 3 stars due to the delivery problem! I bought this as a Christmas gift for close friends! It was supposed to be delivered "before" Christmas and I even received a confirmation email regarding the pre-Christmas delivery! When my friends did not receive it by Christmas I asked to have a manager return my call. Three days later a manager called me back and told me I would have to wait until my friends actually received the package before she would reorder the package (even though it had already been six days and she knew the meat would no longer be good!) she was "not" apologetic, nor helpful! My friends received it days later and the box was hot and stinky and they had to dispose of it. I had to call the company back AGAIN to advise they had received the ruined meat. This manager was more helpful and reordered the package again, but due to the holiday of New Years, I was advised to wait til after New Years to have it shipped out, so there would not be a delivery problem again. Therefore, my friends did not receive their Christmas gift until the second week in January! When I asked the first manager to compensate my friends she blamed it on UPS...but then finally agreed to email them a $50 gift certificate! I will say, my friends did say the meat was very good....however, I would not recommend using them for any kind of holiday gifts!

This is the second year I have used them for Christmas presents, and after a mix-up in shipping, their customer service was amazing and all parties LOVED the steak and lobster!!!

Sent a gift assortment for the first time. It was being sent to St. Petersburg, Florida. Luckily, the recipients were home because when the package arrived, it only had a softball-size ice piece left. There were no warnings given that it could happen so I was surprised. I emailed the company but never heard back.

SHIPPING PROBLEMS

I ordered close to $800 worth of steaks and was charged a shipping charge.

I ordered a gift pack shortly before Christmas, 2015 to be sent to El Paso TX. I really didn't expect it to arrive until after Christmas. Received confirmation that the order shipped on 12/22 and arrived at their door on Christmas eve! Thank you, Chicago Steaks, for coming to the aid of a procrastinating shopper! They loved the steaks! I will order from you again.

I sent Chicago Steaks to my brother's family for Christmas. My sister-in-law is a great cook and quite a foodie, She told me that she has had several other steaks from mail order companies. Chicago Steaks was by far the best. She will be ordering from you in the future and so will we. :-)

I am a repeat customer - because they deliver. Good quality, and within the time they tell you. I like predictability and Chicago Steaks provides me with the peace of mind that my gifts will be the same as I intended. Thanks!

Great customer service with a great product..

I've used Chicago in previous years, and, frankly, there was a mistake in an order last year. It happens, but they reacted quickly, with care and concern, and made it right immediately. The products were very enthusiastically received by the recipients. This year, the site was so efficient because of the previous year's orders/addresses, and absolutely everything arrived on time, perfectly packaged! I will be a repeat customer because it provides quality products and service, and they take ownership and really reflect their appreciation for your business in how they handle problems. After all, when you buy any product online, there's the unknown if they'll fix problems. These folks do!

Dismayed that shipment was late and dry ice had dissipated. Meat may not be usable when thawed as it was a little thawed when it arrived and then had to be refrozen as recipients were going out of town. Order #59714 Judith Calhoun

Chicago steaks are absolutely the best steaks that we have ever eaten. We have tried Omaha steaks, Kansas City steaks and many others. Chicago steaks far exceeded any steaks that we have had. I assure you that if you try them once, you will be reordering them. We had the premium angus boneless new york strips. What a wonderful experience. I also need to add that they have one of the most outstanding customer service departments that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Thank you Chicago steaks and we will see you soon.

After a slight delivery date misunderstanding, 1 phone call and the issue was corrected. Just received an email from the recipient along with a photo of how pleased he was with the steaks. Thank You

My carnivorous father loved his Christmas gift of ribeyes and hamburgers. I did a lot of research about gourmet steak companies , and I am happy with my choice. May dad called the meat "phenomenal." I would absolutely buy from Chicago Steaks again!

We were fortunate here in upstate New York to experience unusually warm weather at Christmas. Normally, like Chicago, it can be sub zero with snow measured in feet. So what an opportunity to fire up the grill and cook some of the finest rib eye steaks from Chicago Steak Company to go along with the lobster tails directly from Maine. This was a Christmas made perfect thanks to your company and one we will repeat but won't wait until Christmas to grill again.
