United Kingdom | 12 January 2018As an ex-pat, finding travel insurance in English is not easy, but Gobelink offered us good cover at a realustic premium for our holiday to USA in November/December 2017. I contracted a very nasty throat infection on the penultimate day, which necessitated making a claim. Throughout the claim process - including a courtesy call to check progress of obtaining a physician - the staff were friendly and efficient. The astonishingly high cost of the doctor's visit and medication was reimbursed in full within three weeks of submitting the claim documentation.

We have numerous trips this year and it is the first time we considered an annual multi trip policy - can highly recommend Globelink Travel Insurance. Very easy to navigate their site, simple explanations and great information concerning any medical conditions etc. I have saved a good amount with comparable policies. Well done, hope we don't have to use the insurance but feel confident with the professionalism of the site that any claim necessary will be dealt with efficiently. The cover provided is perfect for our circumstances and better than others offering insurance for more money!

Spain | 10 January 2018We have just renewed our annual policy, which we have now had for 10 years. We were disappointed that the premium had increased significantly, due to attaining age 66, but it still proved competitive when we checked alternatives. However, the section relating to pre-existing conditions was not particularly clear and we initially marked Q1 as 'no' before reading on and deciding that it was in fact 'yes'. Maybe the wording could be made clearer, or examples given. Otherwise the application/renewal process is straightforward. Fortunately we have never needed to make a claim so are unable to comment on the level of service in that respect.

Spain | 10 January 2018My son needed a hospital visit - and it was urgent - so we just went to the hospital. We paid in cash as the hospital required as they didn't want to hear about travel insurance. When I got back from the hospital to read the terms and conditions, it clearly states that this terrible insurance does not cover anything unless you contact them first - and they appoint a place.. But on a late Christmas night, you do not think to read terms and condition when there is an urgent situation. I've learned one thing - travel insurance is certainly not just a travel insurance. Be aware!! EDIT 10 jan 17:52; I've now emailed them - and see what the say. EDIT 12 jan 11:57; I have now learned that I was completely right about this company. Guess what the response was: Thank you for your recent email. Unfortunately, we have been unable to identify the claim to which your email relates. Please reply quoting our claim reference number. This should begin with 'Z'. Please also ensure you resend any attachments as the original email will be discarded. We look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Administration Team ------ They haven't given me ANY claims reference number - and now some silly admin staff is just making things are complicated as possible in the hope that I give up!

United States | 31 December 2017I wrote at you already 10 emails And all email sent u answered me after 10 days Its longggggggg way to close a claim .. immagine if some one need at serius help.. i called u many time too but u know an international call from usa is any call 10 € so.. that money nobody will give me back Other travel insurrence they call u any days after u not close ur claim So again .. its chep but healty is more important Dont know why u not try to solve my claim so fast in fee days then answer me here fast and my email about my claim is sooo slow not less then 10 days for just told me .. u have to give to us other info .. so after that again 10 days and u told me .. 1 picture is not clear... so the infinite story ... just for 190 $ .. and really will be 150 $ bc 40 is uncovered ..
