Easy to understand website, so my holiday insurance was all organised very quickly. The only thing that was a nuisance was having to spend ages on the phone to cover an existing condition. With my previous insurance company, who sadly no longer cover expats in Portugal, this was also all done on line, so quicker and less costly.

Good so far but haven't had to make a claim or anything so can't really rate the service.

Existing medical conditions policy is unclear and over the top.

I recently renewed by telephone and it was very straightforward. Previously I needed to buy additional cover, and the lady I spoke to wasn't terribly helpful, she just said it was up to me to decide. I got the impression this was policy of the company.

I have cancer and struggle to get insurance although I am well at the moment. I have used Globelink for the past few years as you can choose not to include pre existing medical issues. This makes the policy cost effective but I still have insurance for day to day holiday issues. All sorted on the internet and very simple. I have never had to make a claim but would expect this to be simple to.

For simplicity and price it is good. However, the real test would be how claims are handled should you be unfortunate enough to require one and I hope that is something I don't have to do.
