United States | 17 November 2018Bought discs for Mitsubishi Montero. I am happy with purchase. Arrived in less than a week. I did installation myself. Brakes feel good again similar to OEM. Fit was good.

United States | 17 November 2018I couldn’t recommend a better site. The prices were amazing. They even arranged it so I could pick up my parts from their warehouse.

United States | 17 November 2018My experience was one that was looking for the best recommendation for my unique application. Having much experience in the automotive world, I tried to guide towards a proper selection, however upon receipt the parts received were wrong. Other selection softwares I used and exclaimed to use brought the correct part numbers for my application. The return and replacement process was made easy. I am happy with the rotors that were received and the brakes work well, however, the amount of debris is a real nuissance for a daily driven vehicle. I hinted at an upgraded pad during the process, but there must be a larger profit margin for Power Stop components as they were continued to be the recommendation. I offered to give the company my business again by asking about purchasing a wheel bearing for my truck, I thought there may be an incentive for the previous mishaps to keep a possible future customer, however, the discussion was just a quote at full price for the parts requested. I was able to find an OEM replacement on my own for a comprable price. I personally have debated about not using the company again, next time I would order my own parts. Reply: interesting that my point is being proven about the customer service by the reply post, rather than trying to understand the customers perspective and offer help, the feedback that was requested by the company was met with something other than helpful reply. StopTech, my apologies on the mistake, but seems like minor details while ignoring the big picture. Since you’re asking for clarification, I had to look up the parts myself after the wrong parts were sent, which means, I was easily able to input information into a computer and derive the correct part for my application, however, that was not easily done with the process that I experienced. I also kindly titled my review as probably not your typical experience, however, I am wondering if that is a wrong assumption now. I tried this service on my own vehicle to experience if it would be worth sharing with my clientele, i have done 3 brake jobs since, not ordering through this service and with the negative backlash reply, it would appear that I have made the right choice. Thank you.

United States | 17 November 2018John was refreshing to speak with... in the automotive industry, people are often blunt and to the point, almost rough at times. John answered all my questions and was very thorough in making sure I got exactly what I was looking for and also needed, in regards to fitting my car specifically. I will certainly continue to order from John at BuyBrakes.com, which has updated their website to be the most accurate and plentiful of their Centric parts inventory.

United States | 17 November 20182nd time I’ve ordered from buybrakes. Both times I ordered by phone. It was quick, simple and the parts arrived at my door on the day promised ( in about two days).

United States | 17 November 2018Updated 11/30/2018: I replied via email but the gist of it is this. My concern is not just strictly based off my "Frankenstein" car. Answer my question. How does your existing policy address situations where the customer simply changes their mind? I'd love to see how you address this scenario rather than simply focusing on me buying for a "Frankenstein" setup. I'm sure Jeff Bezos is an interesting man, but i don't care to have him on the phone. Ironically, you mention "brake expert" but at the same time, I don't think your "brake experts" on the phone are capable of handling phone calls on "Frankenstein" cars either...lol. Obviously I don't expect you to know about "Frankenstein" cars, but my request as a customer was for a return of a new unused product...that is the essence of my request and thus, my review, yet you persist to bring the focus solely on the "Frankenstein" aspect; what about when your customers change their mind? I expect, based off your reply, that I will surely pay a restocking fee as well except this time, my mistake is that I changed my mind. You have the right to determine your business model (direct shipment), and I understand the restocking fees, but at the same time, it is a cost of doing business and you (freely) choose not to absorb these fees, while other vendors do. Amazon is not the only company that I have purchased from that does not enforce a restocking fee for customers that request returns. Restocking fees are archaic in my opinion and I would posit that it is simply the cost of doing business. In order to obtain/achieve customer satisfaction, you should consider that customers change their minds in addition to making the wrong purchases (read: mistakes). End Update I had a terrible experience with customer service and their ridiculous restocking fees and requirements. Get your stuff from Amazon or another establishment that doesn't have restocking fees for brand new unopened items who will not make you, the valued customer, jump through ridiculous hoops just to get a product returned. I purchased rotors, pads, and SS brake lines for my car. I decided to just return the front rotors since I wanted to upgrade them. I learned about the 15% restocking fee and the extremely silly return requirements (if the box is opened, do these steps and label it this way- if the box has not been opened, do different steps...blah blah blah). I didn't want to deal with this company any more so I opted to return my entire order and never even opened up the box since returning an unopened box was the easier (read: less anal) approach to getting this returned. In the end I paid $52.50 in restocking fees ($350 x .15) for an order that I never even opened up the box and had numerous back and forth emails with customer service. My time is worth much more than dealing with this ridiculous company. The VOC (voice of the customer) and the customer experience is the most important thing...ultimately, if you get this right, you will get the sale as a byproduct. Amazon has disrupted the entire marketplace and set the standard of how the customer experience should be. The thing is, they didn't invent the wheel. All they did was understand the customer's needs (great products, competitive prices, super fast delivery, painless return process -no restocking fees, no return shipping, can drop off as Kohl's without even needing to package your returns- and in some cases an item can be delivered in a matter of hours!!). Why put yourself through misery shopping at BuyBrakes.com...it is evident that they have not adapted to the changes in the marketplace. To BuyBrakes: Adapt or die

United States | 17 November 2018These folks went out of their way to ensure I got the right brake parts for my Audi S4 B8 with a follow up email and phone call to my online order ensuring I got the right part based on my VIN number. There was an issue with the manufacturer of the brake part, but again this company went out of their way to ensure my satisfaction with a replacement pair sent without question! Highly recommend for selection, pricing as well as customer service.
