United States | 12 November 2018Just installed my Talon brake kit on my 2015 Tahoe... These brakes are amazing. The truck stops so much quicker without having to stand on the pedal. Also no shaking when you disengage the grade breaking.11-26-18 updated brakes are great stops so much better and faster! Extremely happy with this product. BTW there is a smell until the pads and rotors are broken in

United States | 14 September 2018BuyBrakes is the place to go, if you like dealing with competent sales reps. Mat was top notch and he knows the EBC Performance Brake product line,

Ukraine | 06 January 2018Awful customer service, fake warranty. The experience with Buybrakes was cost 1800$. It was Buybrakes mistake in a parts finding and no warranty, no support. Never more PS You know - it was mistake of your "specialist". BBK was ordered for specific car. You inappropriate comment about "frankenstein" - excuses to cover up for your incompetency. No more

United States | 24 January 2017shopping for new rotor/brake kit for 2102 hyundai tuscon. I looked at a few sites and talked to their customer service about an unclear/conflicting fitment note. Every site was confused at best. Then I called BuyBrajes. I could tell that John immediately understood exactly what the issue I was referring to was. It took a quick call to the Centrix tech department and an erroneous fit note listed in Centrix's catalog was cleared up so we could order the correct kit. We've all dealt with sales and customer service people that know their business to varying degrees and felt the frustration from it,Especially so when dealing with your car brakes. Don't waste your time, deal with these guys and enjoy their expertise.

United States | 07 January 2017Was shopping for new rotor/brake combo for my 2014 Mazda 3 Sedan, 2.0L. Every site had a combo for the 2.5L, even BuyBrakes. However, upon calling them, I discovered they could create a set for my 2.0L. John spent a lot of time going over the different types/options, finding the right fitment, and answering my many questions - pretty much ensuring that I would be happy with my purchase. I'm very picky when it comes to buying pretty much anything, especially when I'm trying to customize my car! And not once did I suspect he was running out of patience with me :) Once my order was confirmed and payed for, it was shipped out fairly quickly. I want to thank you for all your help. Your expertise and patience in working to find the right setup for me has not gone unnoticed, and is truly appreciated!

United States | 06 July 2016I have a 2009 VW Routan that was constantly warping the factory rotors (went through 4 sets). In January 2015, I called buybrakes.com and spoke with John. He set me up with a set of Stop Tech drilled and slotted rotors at a fantastic price and expedited the delivery (no more warping problems). Months later the front pads wore out prematurely and John sent out a set of replacement pads at no charge. Well the problem turned out to be a bad front caliper (no fault of buybrakes) and I am ordering a set of replacement rotors. I would like to thank John and buybrakes.com for their excellent products and customer service.

United States | 24 July 2014I specifically told cust ser that I did not want to purchase Centric brand rotors so, together, we picked out a StopTech brand - when I got them they were Centric(Taiwan) brand in a StopTech box

United States | 16 May 2014I bought a vehicle that had been previously modified and needed help figuring out what brake parts it needed. The guys at BuyBrakes were incredibly helpful. They found me the parts I needed and they shipped out the next day. The only mistake I made was not calling them first!!!

United States | 04 October 2013I received shipment of two front Power Slot rotors and two Hawk pads. I ordered based on a recommendation from my mechanic and his company. I opened immediately. All looked well, I failed to inspect the second rotor (they were stacked in a box) I go to install the product a few months later and come to find the driver side rotor was originally damaged on the corner in its packaging. I had/have picture proof, it's obviously the issue from the warehouse prior to packaging "UPS". Their response was basically sorry about your luck, too much time has gone by to process a "UPS" claim. Well, I'm sorry to say, this isn't a UPS issue the condition of product that was put in the UPS box was sub par prior to being shipped. No QC? The products are still in their original packing. Their solution was 15% off my next purchase? After spending $312.00 or so on damaged merchandise? No thanks. Days have gone by with my displeasure being known by customer service with no response. I'm sorry, but all companies that do great business would step up and do something. If "Amazon" messes up 1 shipment they are falling over themselves to make the order right. My business to "Amazon" is minuscule in the grand scheme. I purchased the pads and rotors through a link a local reputable tire establishment sent me to as a favor. I was told the next time i'm in for an oil change and rotation (every 5k) that I would need new pads and rotors. I decided to be proactive and purchase that day. I did. Shame on me for waiting to install them only to find they were originally damaged. But after very detailed picture proof of the damage brand new in the box, 15% off my next purchase? I'm a very loyal repeat customer, does any one need my $312.00 order the next time I purchase? I'm 90% city driver in a large vehicle, I'm fairly tough on brakes. I'll be purchasing rear pads and rotors shortly... not from Buybrakes.com. I will never recommend ordering through buybrakes.com - unless proven otherwise.

United States | 08 December 2009I spent hours researching brake pads and rotors for my vehicle and ultimately had to make the decision to go with basic NAPA brand (cheap) brakes or performance brakes. I priced everything out and the "cheap" brakes came out to about $325. With BuyBrakes.com, I was able to price out EBC rotors and pads for $350 (after discount). Unfortunately, BuyBrakes.com contacted me a day after I sent my order to inform me that the rotors and pads would ship from the manufacturer, but the manufacturer did not have the pads in stock. They gave me the opportunity to continue with the rotors, but I declined and was sent an email within 15 minutes confirming my order would be cancelled. Overall, I would rate this merchant very well due to their fast communication. However, as a whole I gave a 4 out of 5 because of the issues with the manufacturer. Will definately research and try to purchase from BuyBrakes.com again.

United States | 13 February 2009Ordered 4x DBA rotors, approx $530.00 total. All components were listed online as shipping within 3 days of purchase. Card was charged 3 days later, 2.5 weeks later I get an email notifying me that half the purchase was on an 8-10 week backorder at DBA but they can ship the other half. I asked why it took 2.5 weeks to tell me this and was given no reply that made sense to me. I replied asking to issue a full refund and cancel the order. It has been 1.5 weeks since then, still no refund, and no reply. I called them and talked to a Beth (the same one that emailed me) to see what was going on and she admitted to dropping the ball and would take care of doing the refund in a timely manner. We'll see what happens next. Just terrible communication. I'll be considering a call to the BBB regarding this company. Leon
