I found team responsive. However, if possible please send claims amount as soon as possible the claimant don't have to follow.

I work as an insurance broker. I had a positive experience with them when they assisted me with a death claim. They were very professional and supportive throughout the long process. I highly appreciate their service and expertise.

I urgently needed to find a hospital near me, and set up my details, registration processes, the entire thing. 1 call to April, and was re-directed to Lily Kaekla. Despite my concern (sick kid), she successfully calmed me down and very quickly settled everything I needed in a clear, helpful, understanding way. I got to the hospital and was in and out in 1.5 hours, something that typically took ~6 hours. I didn't need to pay - just had to show the insurance card to the hospital that Lily had helped me with. All in all - excellent.

Mr. Jessel, Ms. Queenie and all the claim team are very effective. They are helpful and understanding. I would rate 4 stars out of 5 because I have had some experiences with claim and GOP delayed, however it is not too bad. I would suggest to speed-up the claim process, especially GOP process.

Jasmine CHAN was professional, understanding and extremely helpful. She understood my situation right after I explained, she also enlightened me on several possible scenarios, somehow she was also very efficient in conveying updates promptly after her follow up. I don’t think I need any middle man to liaise for me if every rep is effective like Jasmine, truly impressive and grateful! Thank you 🙏🏻

Bonjour, Je suis partie 4 mois à l'étranger. J'ai demandé un devis à april international. Ils se sont trompés de contrat en m'envoyant vers un contrat étudiant. Ils étaient difficilement joignables en cas de pépin puisqu'ils n'ont pas de numéro pour être appeller de l'étranger et encore moins en dehors des heures françaises! Et il faut ajouter à cela qu'ils sont très chers. Pour un sejour court je recommande plutôt la Maif!

I’ve been trying to set up my télétransmission services for months. They literally just straight up ignore my emails. When I call they say the same thing - that they will forward the details to social security and no there isn’t anything else they can do. Then radio silence again. They also take 2 weeks to reimburse the most basic claims. I have no idea how I’m supposed to trust them in an emergency. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m only writing this review because I’m at my wit’s end about how I can actually get someone to do something.

My son was admitted to the hospital on Sat while their office is closed. Rang them on Monday asking for help to set up direct billing. They have managed to set that up promptly within a day before we're being discharged. Very helpful and efficient team.

I'll say, first of all, that I absolutely love the April International team. Everyone I've interacted with (shout out specifically to Anne-Marie and Thomas at April International UK) has been extremely helpful, thorough, compassionate, and efficient. Insurance is not an easy thing to figure out when you're an expat in a country where you do not speak the language, but April has been awesome. The one-star reduction comes mainly from the burdensome claims process which requires me to take a paper form with me to all of my doctor's appointments and then scan in multiple sheets of paper and email them over rather than having some sort of easy app that I can use like other private insurance companies. The German medical system (where I live) operates on extremely quick doctor's visits and doctors and their staff get annoyed at me most of the time I ask them to fill out these forms. It makes me less likely to go to the doctor because I don't want to face yet another German doctor refusing to fill out my form or becoming annoyed at me when I insist I must have the form filled or I will not get my insurance claims covered. It's already a rather intimidating medical system to navigate and it's not made easier by the paper claims process. I do highly recommend April, but I wish they would simplify this process so it isn't so burdensome on doctors who are already rushing to get you out of their office as quickly as possible.

A fuir !!! Mon fils a dû aller aux urgences et malgré les nombreux documents hopitaux urgences soins médicaments rien ne se fait. Refus de remboursement catégorique car fallait faire remplir leur documents sur place aux urgences ou autres medecins surtout à BALI c'est une plaisanterie. Tous les documents et factures sont officiels mais non ça suffit.... Je ne m assierai pas sur 1400e!!!!! Suis à dispo si un mediateur veut me parler

I haven't had a claim yet, but I have been impressed with the team's thorough and efficient correspondence since April - I have been happily dealing with Rickey, Adam and Ashleigh. They answered all my questions, put me at ease and after researching dozens of providers for global insurance (I work abroad in different countries for months at a time) I am pleased to have chosen them as the April UK provider to go with. Here is hoping that should the need arise (touch-wood it doesn't) that when it does they will follow through as I expect they will.

I have been with April for 3 years now, my wife had an emergency issue with her thyroid. April approved her operation. I am always worried of shady insurance companies always finding a way to deny claims, thank God April is not one of these shady companies and took care of our claim in a professional manner. I will continue to purchase my health insurance with April.
