United Kingdom | 02 October 2024First time buyer, just had a mortgage approved after ~10 business days. I've spoken to multiple mortgage brokers, and Habito was by far the easiest to work with. Everything was online which really fit my lifestyle/schedule, and the deals I've been offered have been the same if not better than other brokers. It was such a no-BS process! I'd also like to mention that everyone I interacted with (Joe, Helen and Ellen) was super responsive and patient and overall it was probably as smooth of an experience as I could have wished for. I've also opted to go for Habito Plus, again for how easy it was. One thing to note is that in cases of <10% LTV, Habito will outsource the process to Muve (but still with some oversight). Transparently, I didn't know that before signing up to Habito Plus. I initially panicked a bit as I've read mixed reviews about Muve, but to be honest (I'm still in the process), so far that has been quite smooth and straightforward as well :)

After filling out some information online about ourselves and our mortgage details we had an immediate response from Ahmet. He was very professional, polite and informative. He gave us a detailed breakdown of all the options available to us from a vast selection of providers. He found us the best possible rate and lead us through the process to set up our new mortgage. United Kingdom | 01 October 2024Despite being recommended by mse, I was given incorrect information so spent months looking for a property based on the information given but when it came to applying for a mortgage they said they had sent a document with the wrong amount on it. Came up with a variety of excuses of why this happened. It cost me months. Was reluctant to talk to me on the phone, only wanted to communicate via email. Have gone with someone else who spent much more time talking to me to get all the correct info that is also recommended by mse

I think he just got over excited by the money and ignored that bit of information, giving us a mortgage in principle of about 600k. When it actually came down to it and we gave him documents and he realised it would be less his tone completely changed and acted as if we had mislead him which was not the case, we have our first ever email as proof. After some back and forth he just pulled out sending a generic email not explaining why. We have had a house offer accepted and he's really messed us up here. Not happy at all with the service.
