Warren Evans have gone into Administration, but there is no warning on their website. We bought an ottoman bed that came with gas lifts inadequate for the weight of the mattress. They sent some grumpy guys around s week later to fit new ones, which still aren’t strong enough to safely lift the mattress. No wonder they were grumpy - they’re probably about to be made redundant.

Super service great bed

Bought over the phone having searched the Internet for what I required. They were the most reasonably priced bed and headboard. They arranged a day and explained I would be contacted 3 days prior to delivery with a 3 hour time slot. This duly happened and the guys who delivered the bed were excellent. I will be buying from Warren Evans again and have already recommended them to friends.

Great service when we came to the showroom to look for a mattress. The purchase and delivery was easy , friendly and good. However, When I went back into the shop to order a feather pillow at £16 in the sale - I was told none was in stock but I could still have one when they come in at sale price and that an assistant would phone me and take payment over the phone. - I have heard nothing :-(

A great company to deal with from the intial purchase from Paul at the Chelmsford office through to the delivery. I am really impressed with the level of service and customer care I received not to mention the superb quality of the mattress. It’s so refreshing to deal with a relaxed yet professional company who deliver on all promises. I imagine it must be a good company to work for!! Would definitely recommend.

I bought a natural 7000 double mattress medium-firm having tried several other mattresses to help with lower back and hip pain. Having begun to feel like the princess and the pea (IKEA foam was too hard, the WE Tempur was perfect for my back/hip pain but way too hot), I decided to try your pocket sprung mattresses. Many seemed lovely to lie down on but were too soft around the edges when sitting. Others were way too hard with no 'give' for achy joints but this mattress is blissfully comfortable and has the same level of firmness all the way round. What's more, my partner also likes it! A rare find..thank you.

We visited the Camden branch to try out mattresses and decide on which bed frame to buy. There was no high pressure sales approach or rushing us to make a decision. We are really pleased with our purchase which arrived on time and was delivered and put together by Mark and Jermaine who were fantastic. I was impressed by how little packaging there was too.
