Delivery was on time. The staff at the store leave you alone which is how I like it when choosing a bed.

Service excellent throughout the purchase process. We visited the Guildford branch of Warren and Evans and were given a comprehensive explanation and demonstration of the various beds and mattresses, by a lady with quite obviously good knowledge of the products. We found the whole experience quite exceptional including the team who brought us the bed and who very efficiently and quickly assembled it, and who left the property without leaving any mess.

The bed is great but there is room for improvement in the ordering and delivery. For one thing, I was told it would be £20 to dispose of my old bed. In fact, it is £20 per item: so £20 for the mattress and £20 for the bed. Do not assume the disposal has been factored in when they give you a quote, I only realised this when I had a look at my receipt days after. Had I not checked, I would have been lumbered with my old bed. I was then told I had to take a photo of my old bed and send it to them. If they do not think it will fit in their van, they may refuse to collect it. They said I should break up the old bed to ensure it would be collected. I explained that it was a single bed and apart from separating the mattress as the bed frame, there was nothing else I could do. Thankfully, the nice delivery men took my old single bed and they put the new one together. They were great. I hate to think what would have happened if it was a kingsize bed.

The service I received from Warren Evans was very good. I had to send the mattress back as it didn't fit up my stairs and they refunded it straight away.

Really good. Delivered right on time. The bed I wanted wasn't on sale when almost every other one was, so I contacted them about it and they gave me the 50% discount, plus another unexpected 5% on top of that (purchase before Monday, something like that...). So we got an enormous bed for a low price. It's a very simple bed (Island model), but it's sturdy and easy to put together. The delivery people were going to put it together but the room wasn't ready yet. Only quibble is the slats have unnecessary drill holes near the ends of them, which can be seen and look ugly if the mattress moves just a bit.
