I do intend to make complaints - regarding my recent experience - through any available channels regarding your - Pie Insurance - payment process. I am not certain if it is legal to permanently capture payment information for the purposes of "auto pay" or "recurring payments" without first notifying the consumer and obtaining consent to do so. I am however fairly certain that I am not the only consumer who will find this current payment process problematic. Generally speaking, any sort of payment method permanently stored and used for recurring payments (auto pay) generally requires notification to the consumer and some sort of enrollment process (acceptance of these specific terms by the customer before entering payment information). The consumer should know - prior to making a transaction - if and when their bank card information is being permanently captured and stored, especially for the purpose of auto pay. The terms of service available on the payment page do not state anything regarding enrollment in auto pay, setting up a recurring payment method, and do not give any indication that payment information entered will be permanently and indelibly stored. All the payment page states is: Payment Acknowledgements Pie Insurance will be authorized to withdraw amounts due. This statement does not indicate that Pie Insurance intends to enroll the consumer in auto pay or setup a recurring payment method. I also question your company's practice of denying the consumer any rights to manage payment methods captured during the Pie Insurance payment process. I will say that this whole payment process seems fraudulent in that my card information was captured and permanently stored without my prior consent. I would restate that this is particularly problematic because I specifically asked a representative of your company prior to entering my payment information and was assured that I was not enrolling in any sort of auto pay or recurring payment. To make matters worse, I was then told that I had NO ability to manage or remove my payment method. Thank you again for your assistance.

United States | 26 February 2020Like many others on here, we took the time to apply, get pre-approved, only to be turned away after the fact with no explanation. Juan claimed he would get back in touch with us and let us know what was happening, but nevere did. Attempts to reach him, were answered by automated attendant. Mind you this is the sales process, think about it! if its that difficult, and yes it is, to reach them in the sales process, how difficult will it be if you use them for insurance when you really need their help. NO THANKS, see ya!

It was always my intentions to find a better worker's compensation rate, especially being in California, so when I stumbled on the bookmark for Pie Insurance I decided to jump in and see what happens. I'm so glad I did! The online process was seamless, fast, painless, and no need to make an appointment to see an agent. Also, the rate was reasonably affordable. It took about a couple of days from start to finish. I love it, and I wish I had switch to Pie Insurance sooner!

Took all my info knowing I was a 24 hr. business, then call me back and said too high a risk and we dont cover 24 hr businesses. Would have been nice to know that from the start. Went through the entire underwriters process to find that out. Waste of time !!
