Would love any information! Thanks! Update 1/20: No response. I wish BuyMyPod would have a realistic timeline of when you can expect your payment/any kind of response…this seems incredibly scammy :( Update 1/29: still nothing. Update 2/6: STILL NOTHING Update 3/9: can’t believe I’m typing this. STILL nothing. Are you serious?????

United States | 15 January 2023I sent my phone in November 2022. They say they will send payment, but I'm still waiting. I've emailed and texted many times with very little response. Very frustrating to deal with. I will update if payment ever arrives. Received payment with Apple Pay 1/15/23, so I will give another star.

Everyone needs to file complaints with the BBB to get this business shut down. Payment was received today. Thank you. I will update my experience to a 4.

United States | 13 January 2023I attempted to sell my iPad to this company. They received it on 12/19/22 based on USPS tracking. I still (as of 1/13/23) have not received payment. I have contacted them via text and email and there has been only one response (asking for my name) ... and still no payment. I looked up the address that was on my shipping label and it is a single family home (not a business location) in Burnsville, NC. I won't put the home owners name (available on Yancey County property records) on this review, but I'm pretty sure it is a scam. I am resigned to having my iPad stolen. Update 1/14/23: I have received full payment for my device, I'm presuming based on this review.

United States | 12 January 2023We purchased new iPhones back in November 2022. I have sold other apple items in the past to other sellers with no problems. When deciding to sell old iPhones(SE 2nd Gen. and 7) along with an iPod that we would no longer need I thought to try a new company. All iPhones and iPods have screen and back protectors applied and are in cases from day one, so they are in excellent condition. I even have the original boxes. This site had the highest price on the iPod and phones. Nice looking website and fast delivery of return label. The items were sent out Nov. 22, 2022 and picked up on Nov. 26. This being the beginning of the holiday season I thought it might take a bit longer to process the order than stated on website. On Dec. 2nd after no contact from company, I sent an email asking about status. Was told that an email was sent on Dec. 1 and if I didn't receive it that she would resend it. It was resent and received. The first email went to my spam folder. There was a problem with the iPhone 7 and iPod. No issues with the SE but they could not give stated price for other items. Decided to take the lower price on the iPod but asked for iPhone 7 to be returned. On Dec. 6th was sent an email with pdf of return label and tracking number. Received payment for SE and iPod on Dec. 7 via Apple cash. The tracking number on USPS.com showed it was still waiting for item on Dec. 20th. Between Dec. 6 and 20 I sent several emails and texts with no response. On Dec. 20 I contacted them and asked why it had not been sent out yet. I was informed that it would be sent out that day, which it was. On Dec. 24th finally received the package with a check for the original price instead of the iPhone 7. I was quite happy because the only issue with the phone was that it had a screen protector that I forgot to remove. I deposited the check but on Jan. 5, 2023 the check was returned marked NSF and with a $12 bank fee as well. Contacted company and asked for Apple Cash instead. Got a response just 20 minutes later saying "Hello, yes I am sorry this has occurred. I will send that to you asap!" Have sent two more emails with no response. As of Jan. 11th I am still waiting for payment. I was happy with my experience until the check was returned with added bank fee. I see that there are positive reviews. I just wish mine was one of them. Communications with this company is hit and miss. Finally received payment via Apple Cash on Jan. 12, 2023.

United States | 11 January 2023This is the worst experience I have had trading in an iphone. I sent my iphone in back in Dec 2022 and received an email saying it was received. Then silence for a month. I emailed customer service and they claim they sent me an email offering me cash for my iphone. I requested payment for the device, but it's been over 10 days and I have not received payment and customer service has ignored my emails and text. I am convinced this is a fraud operation. STAY AWAY. Update: customer service responded and said they would send me payment in 36 hours. I have still not received any payment. This is 100% fraud.

Got an email stating a check was being mailed with the agreed upon price. I never received the check. Kept texting the company and the only reply I got was sorry will send it Venmo. I never received any money. I will keep you posted if anything changes Update 01/19/2023 company sent me my money and apologized for any delays

I sent three devices to BuyMyPod in November 2002. Upon review by their team, we agreed via email that I should receive a payment check of USD 46.00. I have not yet received any check and the last email communication sent by BuyMyPod was over one month ago. I even don’t know if the check was mailed to me. I tried additional contacts via text, email and phone call, but no one answer nor respond. Very bad customer service and at this point I even don’t know if I will receive my check.

United States | 06 January 2023I sent two devices to them in late November. I received one email saying one item has low speaker quality and they lowered the price. I agreed on the price but no response and no payment. I write two emails later still no response. I texted them before the holidays and they said ‘I will make sure these are both updated today’. But I didn’t get any update since. I text him a few days ago. No responses. Update: Over 1 week after they said will reply to me, they haven't contacted me about my orders or the payment.

United States | 06 January 2023Sent my iPhone into BuyMyPod in November. Was originally offered $110 for my phone. After inspection, they reduced the offer to $95, which I was fine with. Two days later, they backed out on their offer of $95 (even though I had immediately accepted their first offer) and reduced the offer to $47. I rejected their second offer and asked them to return the phone. I never received a response. Two months have passed and I haven't received my phone back nor a check for their offer. I've texted three times, emailed twice, and even called directly. No responses. Really disappointing customer service. Stay away from BuyMyPod!

United States | 05 January 2023This company has been holding my phone with no payment for almost a month. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I have tried multiple times to get in touch with them, emails, text messaging, phone calls. They continue to tell me they will send payment but do not. This place is a scam. Do not trust them, do not send them your device! THEY DO NOT PAY! UPDATED - it's been a whole week. The company has told me via text multiple times that they will send payment, but no payment comes through! This is appalling. PAY YOUR BILLS!

After confirming this with the postmaster in NC I was told that they pickup their mail in person. I sent a GV message to Matthew and I received no response. A few days went by and I sent another message and this time I received a response saying that an email was sent and I must have missed. I ended up finding it my spam folder and I was told one device was carrier locked and they would offer less and the other had a few scratches (which, to me, it was flawless)... I agreed to a slightly lower sale price and assumed that prompt payment would then be made and once again it's radio silence. This has truly been a bizarre experience and have no problem giving a few more stars if payment is ever completed. I'm not sure what is going on here! *** Payment was made on 1.5.23 via Zelle two stars added

I have still not received my payment even though it was supposed to go through as soon as they received the phones. I have followed up with the company 3 times since and never received a reply. I consider this stealing at this point.

United States | 27 December 2022It has been almost a month since the company said they received my item I sent in. I still haven’t received payment for it. I contacted them and they said they would fix it and get my payment sent. The status was never changed on the website and I contacted them the next day asking for another status update and when I could expect payment. They said they would fix it “immediately” but never responded about when I would get my payment. I have sent 2 more messages asking for status since then and they will not respond back. It appears they are not going to pay me and now my item is gone since they have it.

They mentioned one device had some scratches so I agreed on a lower amount two weeks ago. I haven’t heard a peep. I have asked twice for an update and crickets…. After posting my review they reached out immediately to help resolve the issue. It was taken care of immediately.

United States | 13 December 2022If I could leave a zero star I would. I sent my phone on Sep 29. They acknowledged they received it. Never received my $92 payment I was promised. I messaged them in Nov and they advised they had emailed me in September telling me there was an issue with my phone and it is now only worth $20. This email was never sent and never received- they didn't even receive my phone until OCTOBER so how did they send me an email in September AFTER they checked out my phone? Impossible. They did not provide a copy of the alleged email because it did not exist. I told them if they were not going to honor the $92 I was quoted to please send me phone back. I was told my phone would be sent back within a week. It was never sent, no tracking information has been forwarded and both contacts that have been assigned to my account have stopped answering my emails. It's been 10 weeks. No phone- no payment. My next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau. This is a very poor and shady way for BuymyPod to do business. Neither the buymypods employee nor the payments now employee have not followed up with me on this matter despite repeated requests.

First delay was to downgrade condition, which took a week of back and forth. Agreed to their offer and requested a check. Never received check. Was told on Monday November 28th they would cancel check and issue payment via Zelle. Still waiting. Reply to their response: You want my name in the review but not yours??? Just answer your emails, you don't need my name here to pay your bills. I emailed you on Monday, yesterday and this morning. Thank You Trustpilot, I finally received my money. I'll give Trustpilot 5 stars! BuyMyPod, please do better with other customers. My review stands at 1 star, I waited to long for my money and had to involve a 3rd party for a solution.
