The website is easy to use. I have used before to send meals to elderly parents. The folks have said they come clearly labeled, easy to prepare, and are very tasty.

I have sent to my mother in the past, she said the food is very good but portions a bit small. I am now sending to my mom and dad, they do not live at same address, and wish the delivery could be sooner.

This was my first time using Send a Meal & I am very impressed with their prompt shipping & attention to detail in getting the food I ordered shipped accurately. My parents are really enjoying the food & love the variety of choices they have for Prepared Meals & Desserts. I am getting ready to place another order for them now. This is our third purchase from send a meal That we have used as gifts for our kids in NYC. The last two have been as Christmas presents. This one was for a way to help them through the quarantine. The meals themselves have been excellent and we are expecting the same for The food for this order. However, the lower rating is because of the shipping fees. Our Christmas orders have both been with free shipping. With this order, however, the shipping fee was almost one half the cost of the food! I placed the order anyway, but I was outraged at the added cost to the order. It seems to me to be a way of price gouging during the virus crisis. Very disappointed with the company for doing that at this time.

Well since this purchase was going to be for my wife's birthday dinner, and although the web site allowed me to purchase, but an email hours later said they could not support it and a refund would be issued. Unsatisfactory.

While prices are high, wide selection of food items available. Meat, chicken, seafood and some tasty desserts. Given high demand for home delivery now due to virus, not surprised that delivery is 10 days.

Send a Meal offers incredible variety. However, when they gave me a delivery date April 3- April 15, I called customer service to get a firmer date to no avail. Then they sent me an email about my open cart and I explained I needed the ham I selected to arrive by April 11. They then sent me a revised delivery date of April 3-April 11!

I was trying to purchase a meal for a family member just out of the hospital and did not realize until after I placed the order that it would be 12 days before it might arrive. That was disappointing and then today I am notified the side dish I selected to make it a meal (asparagus) is back ordered and I will get a refund. When I tried to replace it nearly all of your side dishes are back ordered. I know this is an unusual time but I think you should use your spare time to create a more informative storefront for your customers before you loose them all. Thank you for listening.

A week ago I received a box with 4 tiny individual sides. That’s it,nothing more. Where is the rest of my order???

Their menu has quite a variety. Ordering a gift certificate was quite easy.

According to my elderly parents who received a senior gift pack from me, the food was delicious. Said by my Mom who was the best cook ever!

The get well meal was perfect! It arrived on time and was such a blessing to outr friend! Thank you gor the arrangement of the meal, it really made her day!
