United States | 17 May 2024My husband and I are elderly. I selected a few meals that we wanted to try. Before completing our order, I emailed them our question. For the next few days, I kept receiving a reminder email asking me to complete our order. I sent a few more emails requesting information (their own email said just hit reply if questions). All to no avail. I never took the opportunity to place an order, so I have no idea about food quality. I would not recommend this service.

United States | 11 May 2024I’m editing this as the company has responded. The website isn’t that user friendly for checking on credits and gift certificates as you have to enter it each time. It’s not saved in your account like Starbucks or Amazon. But I am updating this to three stars. @sendameal where does one check where the credit was applied to? I will update when I place my second order and see how it goes. If I could give them zero stars I would. I was given a gift certificate from my colleagues as I'm battling cancer and going through chemo. It was a large amount $$ in this gift. I ordered 20 meals, received 18 meals because they canceled two vegetarian meals that are discontinued and didn't deliver the meal or replacement and didn't give me a refund on the two meals that I did not receive. The only way to contact them is through email and they do not respond.

I guess I should have read more carefully, but to tell me that the $24.00 you charged for shipping takes 7-10 days? Perishable items? Unacceptable. Next time I’ll use Spoonful of Comfort or another service.

It was a package deal and I didn’t have to bake any big bird. Thank you SendaMeal for the timely delivery and the well packaged shipment. The whole experience was epic, because we had very little work prepping the dinner and the cleanup was a cinch.

United States | 29 December 2020This was the first time I ordered anything like this. I was purchasing to send Christmas dinner to my friend and her family. I sent the personalized holiday ham selection. Before I even placed the order, customer service was outstanding. They were very responsive to my many questions via email. They made the whole process easy and painless. I did not partake in the meal, but my friend said her family really enjoyed it. Everything was packed perfectly, delivered on time, and tasted wonderful. I will definitely use Send A Meal again!!

She still lives alone in an assisted living building in her own apartment she and my Dad shared before he passed. During this pandemic, having nutritious delicious meals all ready for her to heat up is exactly what she needs. Not only does she not need to cook, but she also does not need to depend on others to grocery shop for her. She called me and could not be more thrilled. She also loves that she received a pamphlet with all your wonderful options. She is going to your website to see what she wants to order next.

Today (Dec 18th) is the day the meal is supposed to be delivered to provide my mom dinner on her birthday and it has still not arrived. I have had no word or email on whether it will arrive or not.

United States | 18 December 2020First time trying this service NOT PLEASED. Per tracking number it was delivered to the wrong state! The email verification of order had the correct address in Waldorf Maryland. Sent email yesterday no response. Sent email today since your site does not give a phone number for anything but orders. Called that and expressed my concerns. I want my money back cause no way you can get it to him by Christmas now. I will let consumers know to not use this service. I will file a claim with the credit card company if I dont get a credit timely.
