I sent my friend's family a meal to help ease the grief after her mother passed away. I ordered the meatloaf dinner with beans and potatoes, as well as the red velvet cake. I told her to let me know how everything was, honestly, so I could issue a truthful review. First, I ordered the meal a week in advance and used the "schedule" function. It was to be delivered on a Friday, which was good for my friend (and why we picked it). The order processed. A couple of days later, I received an email that Friday delivery was not available in that area; it could be delivered on Saturday. Of course, I had no choice unless I cancelled all together, so my friend accepted the change. I do not understand why I could choose Friday as a delivery date if, in fact, Friday was not available for that zip code. Products arrived on Saturday. My friend then reported to me that the meat was fine, the beans were fine, but the scalloped potatoes would not heat at all, even though they followed the directions. They simply would not cook. She told me that I shouldn't bother using this company again. I was so embarrassed that my attempt to help ease her pain fell apart. The idea of sending a meal is good. Unfortunately, this did not work out. It was very expensive, too. I learned my lesson and will not use this again.

My inlaws said it tasted awful, they shipped it without the ham, had to call and jump through hoops to get the ham shipped in time for Christmas..Will NEVER order from them again.

My last few orders have been delivered damaged with the ice and meals thawed out. Send a Meal corrected the order but not with the same meals I originally picked out. I am ordering one final time and hoping it was a one time error. I have never had an issue before and love the food. I am hoping this next order gets delivered without any damage.

I always check on goods I send to someone in the mail. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the package was delivered in a timely manner, was boxed well and still quite frozen. The recipient took the dinner portions to her freezer to use at a later date so I cannot comment on the taste. They did, however, thaw out and ate the cake I had given them as dessert. They couldn’t believe how well it was kept. The recipient told me it was the best tasting cake she had ever eaten. On the second day, eating another piece of the cake, she wrote me and told me again how good it was. Made me feel great that although I couldn’t be there to help out, at least sending a meal so they wouldn’t have to cook was the next best thing. Thank You. I will definitely recommend your website and most definitely use you again in the future.

Easy to order; reasonably-priced; prompt delivery. This is a good service to have for times where I want to help out a friend or family member going through a difficult time. The only complaint I got from the recipient was that there was too much packaging, which made it difficult to fit everything in the freezer and prompted environmental concerns.

I called and the young lady who answered was kind and very knowledgeable. We were talking about orders and all was good and the line went blank. She had my number so I waited and no call back. So 5 minutes went by and I called again. This person I got was not sharp. She didn’t know or couldn’t find the lasagna???? So here I am looking on the web site right in front of me, she couldn’t find it. So after 3 or 4 minutes on hold (which seems like 15 minutes. She came back on and said she couldn’t find it. (I should have ordered it in the site but I like talking to humans. We than talked about Shipping, what I was seeing was about $45 bucks and she kept telling me $25 for the UPS 3 day Ground. So we got that straight..... She finally finished. Almost a half hour later. I get my confirmation email and there are 2 Fried chicken dinners when I ordered 1. So I called and it was another 15 to 20 minutes on the phone. I finally got an email today my order was filled. WHEW! I don’t think I’ll call. I’ll just go order on the site.

This service is great but it took way too long because the website is poorly designed. I could not find a basket to checkout. I finally clicked on login or my account despite the fact that I do not have an account or login and found a way to check out. I was ready to give up.
