I would be afraid to try and serve eight people with the two chicken breasts provided in the package. Maybe it is so good that a little bit goes a long way, but so far I doubt that I will be ordering again.

United States | 12 September 2020I had a typo in the address. I was never notified that this address wasn't valid. I hadn't heard from the recipient so I logged on to the website. When I clicked my orders, I saw that it wasn't delivered. I tried to call Customer Service, there isn't an option to speak to a human? Very disappointed with this order. The last time I used it, I had no problems. I would have appreciated being contacted about the invalid address.

United States | 09 September 2020Since this was a gift, I can’t speak to food quality. But, I understand it was packaged very nicely. My only complaint is that there was no “card” with our message. Rather, the message (and who it was from was on the outside of the box...the recipient luckily eventually re-examined the packaging after having no idea who sent the lovely/thoughtful gift.) I recommend placing a card in the actual box!

United States | 06 September 2020I have used this service several times and continue to do so. The people I have sent it to have truly enjoyed the food and everything has been great. But the last time I ordered something, it arrived to the customer completely rotten. I believe it was the fault of the delivery service and not this company, but the food arrived hot, spoiled and wet since the dry ice had completely melted. What’s worse is that it also arrived later than the delivery date specified. My customer called the company and they did make good by sending another package and adding something additional to make up for it. I am hoping it was an isolated incident. I do continue to use them because their food is delicious and reasonably priced. I do wish that delivery wasn’t as expensive and that it would arrive sooner than a week after ordering. Overall I am satisfied.

The food arrived in a timely manner, and each of the recipients were very happy with the prepared meals sent to them. They were not only impressed with the presentation but each has stated that the food was delicious. I will continue to purchase from Send A Meal, to send food to those we care about when we can't be there to bring a meal ourselves.

And I had to make 2 calls to track my own order. The first call the service person couldn’t even access my info. I gave all of my contact information and was promised a call back, that never happened. My feedback is to provide those that order a way to track and confirm

United States | 05 September 2020I’m in California and used Send a Meal to send my son and daughter-in-law a few “new baby” meals in West Virginia. I carelessly hit return at the wrong time so the shipping and billing address were both to me. I had read a few reviews about terrible customer service and panicked a bit. I immediately submitted a form to customer service, as instructed. Five minutes later I opened my email and customer service had sent me an email questioning if I really wanted shipping and billing to the same address. I was thrilled! Before I could reply to that message, I received another email confirming receipt of my note to customer service, and as I was reading it, a third email came through confirming the correct shipping address. The meals were received as stated. My family was impressed with the packaging, and all meals, sides, and desserts were delicious! They raved about each one. I will use Send a Meal again! Wonderful Idea. Amazing support. Delicious food. Thank you.

United States | 03 September 2020I placed an order for my son's significant other who had surgery on August 31st, after mentioning it to my son he informed me the meals I picked are creamy for her as she is trying to keep her weight down. I called and within 24 hours it was cancelled and I was able to re order the "healthy" foods she likes.... very impressed with the accommodation that came immediately. I will definitely keep you mind for the future.

I have found the selection to be excellent and tailored to a variety of needs (one recipient was vegetarian, one was diabetic, and one liked hearty meat-based meals). The customer service has been very responsive to my requests, quickly rescheduling my delivery when funeral arrangements conflicted with the original delivery date. Best of all, my recipients tell me that the food is delicious, easy to store and prepare, and greatly appreciated. I recommend Send A Meal highly!

My niece had surgery and was unable to do anything for a while so I searched online and chose this company. The process was easy, the food arrived safely AND on time plus the food was fantastic ! I was so impressed that this company is now in my address book for future orders !
