Send this as a gift for my niece who has a hard time cooking. She said the food was delicious and very easy to prepare! Her family loved it all.

I just wanted to give a gift certificate by email...and the website was a little confusing because it kept prompting me for shipping. In the end, it all worked properly. If someone chooses a gift certificate by email with a future delivery date...then that should be the end of the order process..and stop with the confusing shipping request information.

I have used this service twice for a very good friend who has no time to cook and often forgets to eat as he should. These already cooked meals are a "godsend" for him because all he needs to do is heat them up! And, he tells me they are delicious! I love the selection and they arrive within a decent timeframe.

Easy to order, shipped on time, and made it to its destination to bless a person in need. I was very happy with the service.

It was easy, fast, service, not sure how the food was because it was sent to a friend due to a death in the family.

This is the second time I've ordered from send a meal I would given 5 🌟 for the first order of specialty dinners after my children had time to use them. I'm only giving this one 4🌟because it hasn't been delivered yet. And is a different package of dinners, so I'm hoping they enjoy this as much as the first one's. This is my way of helping someone going through cancer treatment from out of state.

Omaha Steaks has always been an excellent company. Thus, I’m not sure why they have spun off Send a Meal. Many of the offerings are the same. Since the arrival of the pandemic, prices have skyrocketed, deals are scarce, and mailings, which used to arrive regularly with fabulous packages, are almost non-existent. I hesitate to speculate why this is so. But I have been a regular customer for many years and don’t plan to continue unless Omaha restores its previous business model.

I purchased two sets of meals and they were supposed to arrive on the dates as follows: 1) the first order should have arrived in 7/8/20 and it did not; 2) It should arrive on 7/15/20. I am not pleased at this time with your service. I only hope that both sets of meals won't arrive at the same time, because I do not want to have both of them at the same time, as I do not have enough refrigeration in my home. I could not send a review because I don't know anything about your meals, so I cannot offer a positive rating.

I appreciate the ease of placing an order and not having to commit to a service. The meals have been received by family members with great appreciation. Most of the many 30 or so meals I have sent were declared a hit.

My 3rd time using S-A-M and always works out very good. My friends are always happy to receive the surprise meals. Especially w/ today's situation. Thank you

Sent a special anniversary dinner to my parents. This was an awesome service. They got to pick the meal and it came just as promised. Since this isn't a subscription service there was no nagging afterwards! Definitely recommend to others.

We tried to order on the website but when it came to pay it was messed up. We finally gave up and put the order through on the phone. The lady on the phone was knowledgeable and the order went smoothly. Meals are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.

the site is easy to maneuver around to order the meal. I hope my dad enjoys his lobster meal!!!

I was on the fence about what to purchase for a colleague who recently lost his Mom. What a great idea to send a Sympathy meal! I chose the lobster mac and cheese (I really wanted to send the rich meal with Lobster but it was out of stock). Your services offer a very nice variety of meal choices and you made my selection easy.

The site got hung up a couple of times. Also, it is not clear that I am purchasing a gift certificate with the requirement to put in a shipping address.

Great meals from which to choose. Fast delivery and the meals were shipped on dry ice. However, Send a Meal immediately sends out a request for you to rate them, even before the recipients (or you) receive the items sent. Also, the recipients we sent our meals to as a gift did not receive the message card we requested be sent with the meals, so they had to send out a message to their friends on Facebook asking who sent the meals. That was disappointing. The recipients, however, were extremely excited to receive what we sent them and enjoyed their first meal from Send a Meal (they are new parents and enjoyed not cooking).
