It really helps a lot to have something available to reach out to our loved ones when they are ailing and Covid prevents us from seeing them in person. Better than a birthday cake!

Food arrived a little later than expected, but the recipient loved it. It was well packaged, and although the recipient was not home when it arrived, she said that it was still frozen when she came home. I didn't find as many selections as I saw when I ordered previously, but all worked out well.

Delivery was perfect and my mom said the food was delicious. Will definitely use again. She said the apple tarts were the best she ever had.

It would have been 5 stars except my order was not shipped as ordered. Yet, it was shipped quickly ahead of time. The original shrimp and rice meal is no longer available but still showed up on the web site. They did refund the meal which was appreciated.

This was the perfect "thinking of you" and really helped my family when they needed it. The food tasted great and arrived in excellent condition.

Website user-friendly, great meal options, can send one meal one time rather than having to join a dining/meal club, reasonable prices I was looking for something different to send to my sister for a congratulations for buying a house/housewarming gift.

Food is meh and they charge you a lot for shipping and it’s not a complete meal just an entree. Pretty lame. I got it as a gift and hate that my friends wasted their money. It arrived on time and was cold - that’s the extra star.

Not great food quality considering the price. Good packaging and service. My filet mignon was more like low fat hamburger.

I ordered on Oct 1. Estimated ship date was between Oct 4-11. I was sending to my sister who had knee surgery, so it was a time-sensitive order. The order was never shipped, and they had to “reship” it after I contacted them about it not arriving. Now it is expected to arrive Oct 15–more than 2 weeks after my order. We’ll see if it actually arrives then.

We purchased the lobster and steak dinner for two and sent it to our son and daughter-in-law for their anniversary. It arrived on the exact date of their anniversary very close to dinner time. Josh and Sal were thrilled when they saw live lobsters, filet mignon, chowder and crab cakes. They said the meal was “awesome”! Can’t thank Send a Meal enough for helping us make their anniversary so special in these days of COVID.

Send-a-meal was a bereavement gift for recent widower. The site should have communicated with me about delivery status. Recipient told me when package arrived; Send-a-meal did not. Although I included a gift card with the order, it was not included in package so recipient didn’t know who package was from. Recipient has couched his opinion of the food. I do not know if he likes it.

Excellent Service. Had a problem with the delivery address and they still got the order to my daughters house just in time! Thank you!
