No pressure sale. Very professional and not rushed . Danny was extremely knowledgeable about the car we wanted to buy . Nothing was too much trouble .

Still waiting for them to contact me have tried emails calling them left loads of messages even the director was sent an email this has been going on since February I purchased extended warranty with car and I have had to pay for repairs myself and waiting for them to reimburse me. They have replied through this site and given me incorrect contact numbers and I have responded on this site and still not got any response. I have been contacted by several people that have purchased a car through this company and some are now going through trading standards and the legal rout this is me giving them there last chance before I go the same way.

Everything very good, except answering the telephone. Very good message from Robert at the start, but no one seems interested in answering the telephone when it rings. If business is good, why not employ someone to answer the telephone, make good customer sense.

The guys who helped me, Jason and Danny were very friendly and not pushy about the sale. It was a pleasure to buy my car from Horsepower, they were helpful and knowledgeable and made me feel confident that I was buying a good car. I would happily use the company again in future for servicing my car as well.

Well, Had car now for 4 months so can rewiew: 1. After paying , collection of the car has been delayed 4 times... all took more than month!! Called me about it will not be ready... when I was already aproaching them for my appoitment. 2. Vehicle - should be perfect (described this way): - windshield washer hose had hole in it - spotted 2 days after recieving car - Cleared dashboard lights came up after 1 week - problem with catalyst, fuel pressure and something else. Taken my car for scrap? well now they selling it for 1,800+ Personally I will not use them

Danny was so patient when Halifax blocked our payment for a start! Looked after my husband while my friend took me to town's Halifax branch with ID etc! The car is super & as I had 125 mile drive home Jason had given me enough diesel to get me there & more bless him! Really pleasant staff & what a busy business!

The first car I bought from them I had for 2 months and had to send back as it had lots of mechanical problems so they then swapped it for me with another car that I have subsequently found out had been salvaged. They did not disclose the information - I paid £10,000 and when I came to sell it the vehicle was only worth £1600.00. They did not do the full checks that would be expected of a professional car dealer. On complaining I then got an email from them which said I could probably sell it on!!!! They then said they would buy it back from me for £2100.00 The photos of the car which was in a crash in 2017 were shocking! It looked like it had been rolled in a ditch as every side, front and back of it was severely damaged. It may not be illegal to sell on without disclosure, but their ethical policy is quite frankly a disgrace. I would not buy from this company unless you personally undertake paying for a check on the car history. I have reported this to trading standards and citizens advice so there is a record of their ethos now.

The whole experience from the initial contact to the delivery of my car was handled in a friendly, professional and non-pressurised manner.

Jason was help and honest in his description of the car. Although I arrived after 5pm to collect there was no hint of me being rushed out of the door. The value of my part exchange car was agreed over the telephone sight unseen and there was no haggling when I arrived. Overall I was very imprerssed with the service I received both from Jason and the other staff members I spoke to on the telephone. I am very happy with the car I collected.

Was looking for a certain car which Horsepower had a few of. Their website gives lots of pictures of the cars at lots of angles including underneath. So you can study the car you like before even going to the site. Was a very pleasant experience when there. Danny showed me around the car and took me for a test drive as I was unable to due to an injury. He drove in a way to highlight and defects or knocks. On returning he left me to look over the car alone. There was no sales pushing or dealer rubbish. I agreed the buy and asked if an MOT advisory could be checked by their machanics and on pick up was told they had changed the part so no problems down the line. It wasn't a high value car but felt I received a good honest service.
