During my stay in Amsterdam, I decided to go with the 30€ plan for three months. Surprisingly, after my first ride, it deducted 7€ from my account. Seeking clarification, I contacted customer service, only to discover that their plans were exclusively for regular bikes, not e-bikes (which wasn't clear when signing up). As a result, I requested a cancellation, and they promptly terminated my account, with a charge of only 20€ for the initial mishap. On a different note, its regular bikes in Amsterdam makes you dislike biking!

Bikes are definitely the least expensive to rent, and you can find them everywhere and easily. Unfortunately, they are too often poorly maintained. Their policy on drop-off relocation is an unjustifiable rip-off, as there are thousands of bikes scattered around the city anyway. - Update and specifications after Donkey Bikes response to my first review: I rented about 8 bikes in 4 days when visiting Copenhagen. I found the maintenance of most bikes quite lacking, which contrasts with the emphasis on maintenance mentioned in your response. Regarding the drop-off policy. Every time the app invited me to take the bike to the nearest drop-off, I always noticed numerous other Donkey Bikes already parked there, implying that it was a common spot for bike drop-offs. Additionally, the map shows the widespread presence of Donkey Bikes all over in the city. It's worth acknowledging that bikes are frequently used to reach destinations like parties, friends' houses, dates, and tourist that already make effort orienting themselves. This context is essential for understanding the dynamics of bike usage. My perception is that you're relying on a rule that may have originated with good intentions, but it doesn't seem to adapt well to the current scale and usage patterns. Even though the rule doesn't align with reality, I faced a "fine" when one of the bikes I left outside the designated zone was still available for rent the next morning and was even used by a friend. This situation further underscores my belief that your adherence to this rule appears to be more profit-driven than customer-oriented. It's unfortunate because I believe the idea behind your service is great. However, I'm reconsidering using the service again or recommending it based on these experiences.

Troppo pratico! E utile facilissimo da utilizzare e abbastanza bici a disposizione! ( l'unico problemino la sella un po troppo duretta!!!)

Many of the donkey bikes are in an old and somewhat rusty shape and do not provide a nice cycling experience.

It was easy to find and rent the bikes. Biking Copenhagen was easy and extremely convenient. Being able to lock and continue to use the bikes and stop at various points throughout the day was wonderful. Thanks!

Great overall experience. Only downside was that when I returned bike to pickup location I got a warning I would be fined not for returning to a dropoff. There are about 12 bikes parked here at camping Roskilde.

Weather was typically danish but it was fine to ride with wind, rain and sun. A few stops to see kids dive in water at Islands Brygge baths, or drink some at Christianshavn Café. København is à so wonderful city for bikes. I can’t understand people who need to do it by car.
