The bikes are a hybrid between a road and off-road bike. They’re sturdy and the only trouble I had was with the seat (it gradually slid half way down the pole throughout the journey depending on how many pot holes I failed to avoid). I had trouble collecting and returning the bike because I was in the middle if no where, with no internet. I had to buy local internet to contact Dinkey Republic via chat and to collect the bike. They were super helpful on the chat and quick to respond. I’ve dropped a star because of the internet and seat issues, but otherwise it was great.

Overall, this was a great experience. We were able to get around in Germany very well on these bikes. It would be nice if they shifted better, but other than that they were great.

Ideal to move into the city

J’ai toujours pas compris l’histoire de la dépose des vélos en dehors des zones. Dans quelles conditions peut-on être chargé de 20 Fr. ou pas ? Ce serait bien d’améliorer le Disclaimer à ce sujet. En outre parfois je ramène mon vélo et on me dit qu’il y a plus de station dépose là où je le dépose. Alors je comprends pas très bien…

Eerste fiets geen elektrische ondersteuning (batterij 66km) omgewisseld voor een andere die het wel deed (batterij 68km). Na onze eerste stop (na 10km) gaf ook die geen elektrische ondersteuning meer. De rest van de rit was een hel met die zware fiets en daardoor ook trein gemist. Donkey Republic heeft me onmiddellijk gecontacteerd, de ritten terugbetaald en 6 gratis ritten gegeven. Hun klantenservice is dus top!
