United Kingdom | 27 February 2025Shocking experience, I bought a £2500 Pc, about a year in I had a problem with the Pc, the monitor would flicker with pink dots. I was advised by cyberpower (Curtis & Hayden) it was a faulty GPU, they did not do any further investigating. I got sent a replacement GPU. 2 years later when the pc became out of warranty the exact same problem occurred. Cyberpower refused to help in anyway. I found a local professional to diagnose and repair it. He found faults in the motherboard that was causing damage to the GPU and advised that this should have been ruled out when the original problem occurred. Also the Build of the Pc was Amateur, plastic components where found on parts of the motherboard that should have been removed. Thermal cooling was applied in extreme amounts!! not what you would expect for a £2500 pc and a reputable company. Very careless and lazy. Not professional or quality build. After speaking with Alan and his manager Jacob. They advised me I should have sent the full pc to them to be diagnosed when it was in warranty, this I feel is an awful response to a customer as I am not tech savvy and gave them all the information I had available. They advised it is impossible anything else can cause damage to the pc, as it was running fine for so long. This is not the case as the problem was with the voltage of the motherboard, and the new card could have stabilised to problem for a period of time. I advised them I worked in the military and rarely got much time to play on the pc also. I lived in Yorkshire worked in Plymouth and was often out of the country for months at a time. This ruled out there theory about the length of time. To further this they said that two of the exact same faults with two of the exact same GPUs. “It is what it is” also that I was after “special treatment”. Truly shocking DO NOT BUY FROM CYBERPOWER.

I had a problem with my RTX4070 TI super ASUS TUF gaming graphics card after 2 months of using my computer and I asked for help and they replaced the graphics card under warranty with a completely different brand MSI ventus 2x 4070ti super which is not only £260 cheaper and a class below but they refused to refund the difference in cost.

Unfortunately when I attempted to buy the first time, it was during the payment merchant service being down so my order was rejected after several attempts but when speaking with the team at CPUK they were very helpful in every conversation so thank you very much for the help! Initial purchase in 2023 (new PC and ultra widescreen monitor) - great value, very well built and packaged & prompt delivery. The Monitor sadly died after 18months, but was still under the makers 3-year warranty. This was not Cyberpower's problem really, I should have had to deal with maker myself, but as that would have resulted in my having to send it abroad at my own expense, Cyberpower stepped in and returned it to them, worked with them for me and got me a refund! Top notch service and very helpful, going above and beyond.

United Kingdom | 18 February 2025System bought (via Costco): 9800X3D/RTX5080 @ £2350. Customer Service: First off a massive thank you to the several people I spoke to over the phone whilst waiting for my order. Whoever is responsible for that team has really developed a customer focused culture with the team, and each team member I spoke to went above and beyond and did themselves proud. They were friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly always helpful. I suffered no issues that caused me to contact CyberpowerUK post receipt of the system so don't know how they handle problems, but I spoke to various members of the team on 4 separate occasions after placing the order and judging that experience, I would be shocked if they are anything less than exemplary. PC: Part choice I felt was relatively poor for the money. Whilst there isn't a huge impact on performance, giving 5200MTs RAM with a 9800X3D CPU feels like just getting rid of cheap inventory, given the current price of RAM I would have expected 6000MTs with the high end spec. The motherboard was a cheap(ish) B650 with PCIe4 slots which doesn't match the PCIe5 GPU so again, it feels like just a way to shift old inventory. There was zero attempt at cable management behind the rear panel which was a real shame and no easily accessible SATA power meaning I had to dig through the nest to find it. The cable management for me isn't a huge issue given the actual visible cables were neat, but again, given the high end build and cost it wasn't what I was expecting when opening up the case. Lastly, a 240mm AIO for cooling allowed the CPU to reach 93.5C under load for 5mins. This didn't thermal throttle the CPU but it was close and a little too high for my liking. A 360mm AIO would have been a more appropriate choice. All of these points for me are fairly nit picky and the packaging was good, the PC arrived without any damage or loose cables/connectors save an RGB cable to the hub. The performance of the PC despite the (what felt like) "compromise" parts choices, was basically unaffected. The temps during normal use/gaming are very very good and I don't feel like (or see) any real loss of performance in any area for the parts installed. I am also really pleased with the case quality considering it is a cyberpower exclusive. Summary: The price I paid was a fair price for the parts. I don't think that choice of parts was ideal but the system performs well anyway. The packaging was solid and there were no real issues with the system as it was. All of the faults I have listed don't take away from the fact that I am very happy with the PC and are minor to me at least. Lastly despite being a nightmare customer calling every day before delivery, the team were fantastic without exception, and I have no doubt that if I did suffer any issues they would be very helpful.
