I have bought several items from Silver by Mail now and have always been pleased with the experience. However I had to purchase these earrings again (my favourites) because the post came away from the pearl. I didn't return them, I had them a while, as I unsuccessfully tried to repair them

Friends purchased me a necklace for my 50 birthday. I had only worn it a couple of times and then stored in the pouch it came in. Got it out to wear a month later and it’s discoloured a lot in places. I have other silver jewellery and this has only happened after a few years not a month! Avoid and don’t waist your money. Read the other reviews and you’ll see a pattern.😢

Had a two-tone ring wore approx 4 days and the gold enamel faded. Returned item and was told it had been well worn! Shocking when only 4 days old. Then blamed wearing it all the time and using washing up liquid etc! Basically any excuse to try and justify how poor the quality of their products are. Had two-tone pandora rings for years worn all the time and never had this issue. Would never use again

If I could give this site no stars I would. I purchased 2 necklaces which apart from trying on I did not wear. I then took them on holiday in the pouches they provided. When about to put one on to go out on holiday the chain was discoloured and was very noticeable. This was also the case with the 2nd one. Could not wear on holiday. Tried to clean with a silver cloth when home but they are still discoloured. Customer service have been rude and have not thoroughly read my complaint. They have offered me a silver cleaning cloth - what an insult. I would not recommend buying necklaces from this site.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would! Brought a toe ring for my mum as a birthday present at the beginning of June and this morning received a msg from my mum to say it has completely broken in half! Less than 1 month she had it! Called the customer service desk as sending a photo isn’t evident enough apparently, they want the product back to inspect before they will replace or refund! I explained I don’t live near my mum and she is going through cancer treatment but they are expecting the toe ring to be sent which is something she isn’t in a position to do at the moment!! Absolutely shocking! Avoid buying from this company it is obviously not the quality product they advertise!!! Disgrace

Bought infinity set for my wife at the cost of £271 for a christmas present. She's as worn silver all her life and never had problems. However the infinity chain discoloured after 2 weeks. Sent it back and they cleaned it. 2 weeks later it happened again. Requested a refund but got refused because apparently silver tarnishes. My wifes other jewellery as never tarnished. Poor quality. Avoid.

I have given this company the benefit of the doubt, ordering several items over time and alas they have failed. The first item with which I had issue was a bracelet that repeatedly broke. It was repaired three times. The last return of the product to them for yet another repair (using their own free post label) got lost in the post. No goodwill was shown despite my clearly having a genuine problem that had a history to back it up. The second bracket purchased (a different design) has just failed also. It is just over 6 months old. This is their response: ‘Having checked your account we can confirm that the item is outside of our returns policy so we are not able to replace or refund. As per our returns department unfortunately we are not able to repair the bracelet for you due to the design of the chain. We do apologize that we are not able to assist you further on this occasion. If we can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.’ No customer service what-so-ever. They have even intimated that their item is of such poor design it cannot be repaired. Please don’t waste your money on poor quality goods from a company who appear to have no interest in customer satisfaction.

I highly recommend Silver by Mail! I stumbled onto them by chance while I was searching Google for ear cuffs. I've recently bought a cute ear cuff from them, ordered it in the morning and the following day it came! Looks exactly as I expected and so pretty. Will definitely be keeping an eye on their website, to see if there's anything more I would like! Their packaging is lovely too and with a little choccie surprise! Well done Silver by Mail, you know how to treat your customers!

Fat fingers here brought the wrong size, emailed and they sent me a ring sizer, free of charge. I returned the small ring free of charge, they sent a new one free postage. Fast process of about a fortnight. Ive never known such good service. Nothing was too much trouble, free returns, free finger sizer and free postage on the second order. Can't get better than that I don't think! :)

My husband bought me a plain rose gold band for my thumb which I was delighted with. However, 5 days later the rose gold had vanished completely. On contacting the company they refused to assist and thought that 5 days was entirely acceptable. Shocking customer care. Sadly my husband had purchased in September as he tends to get prepared for Christmas as soon as my birthday is done and dusted....that being said, 3 months would be a short time for the plating to last as well, even if it had been worn that long. No excuse for substandard goods Silver....Will never use again or recommend. If I could give zero stars I would.

Beautiful selection of jewellery at a great price. Orders are always shipped quickly and no problem with returns. I placed several orders for Christmas gifts and wasn’t disappointed by any of the items. Would definitely recommend

Comes from China and gets stuck in customs. They send it back and the store doesn’t give the money back! 2 months now waiting and nothing! They don’t reply to the emails.

I purchased a pair of silver petal studs with abalone shell in them in 2021. I have only worn them a few times and noticed recently that nearly all the shell has fallen out. I contacted Silver by Mail and sent a picture and the best they could do was offer me a 30% discount on the same earrings. Like I was actually going to buy such a poor quality item again?! They also said that there was nothing wrong with the manufacturing and inferred that it was my fault for perhaps showering with them on or having chemicals in contact with them. Neither of which I did. Poor quality item and an even poorer effort at service recovery. Avoid!
