United Kingdom | 18 November 2017I was recently stopped at one of Golden Curls stalls in the UK. The salesman claimed that the straightener retails for £250 online. He then offered the product to me for £150. I obviously said no. And then I was offered the product for £100. They company also sell through eBay and the prices for the same items on their company website are very different. The inconsistency in prices is probably illegal, if not then it’s awful practice. Other than this, I do not see how these straighteners warrant the £250 or discounted £100 price tag. They were no better than many other mid to high-end straighteners I have used. The salespeople were also very pushy and intrusive. Not a good look. And I would certainly be wary purchasing from this company, given that they apparently do not respond to negative complaints.

Denmark | 15 November 2017I bought a straightener in Berlin and I was very happy with it. Great product and it does what it promises. I bought it because of the 5 years warranty. I did eventually have to make use of it, but the company was very reluctant to answer my inquiries at first. Don’t know if they were busy or not, but after some persistency, they eventually answered and everything went smoothly afterwards.
