United Kingdom | 22 October 2024Pre-ordered a MTG product in March, for release in June, but the product never arrived. I've chased for months but never had a firm answer on whether I'd actually receive the product. I can't cancel and order from another company now as the price has almost doubled since the initial order date in March. I can't recommend Total Cards to anyone and I won't be using them again as I've had much better service from other providers.

United Kingdom | 23 September 2024I ordered some Pokémon collection boxes and when they arrived they were not as described on the web site. They wanted me to pay for the return postage, even though the product was mis-advertised. They finally agreed to pay for return postage but gave me an invalid return postage label. I am still trying to get this resolved. They make it very difficult to get hold of someone by phone and seem to hide contact details on their web site. This is not how a honest and transparent company should be doing business in my opinion and not a good customer experience. I will not be using them again.

Customer service was excellent, they replied fast and were very helpful. I was on a time limit and needed the products delivered within a day or two. I consulted their support team through the website chat widget to make sure the delivery would be on time, and it was just like they said it would. The prices seem really good (for context, I am a foreigner coming from a country of lower income). Based on customer service alone, I would recommend this shop.

Dont use for pre-orders as they might not have stock and will leave you without the product and out of pocket.

United Kingdom | 10 August 2024Every pre-order you make with this company is always delayed and there excuse is that its the suppliers fault. Ther's only so many times you can use that excuse and when its about 3 pre-orders in a row its clearly a total cards issue. And no I don't want your crappy points system as an apology. They have now dispatched one of my order but I have not received an email for my other order and neither an update. You also cant get through to customer service on the phone as no one is their to answer. One of the worst companies out there in terms of customer experience but they're cheaper and you can pre-order earlier than any other website.

Great packaging also which is needed when buying collectible items. Will for sure keep shopping with them.

The items I purchase were quickly dispatched and arrived well packaged, ensuring they were in perfect condition when they arrived. I will definitely be purchasing from then again!

United Kingdom | 21 July 2024First of all let me reassure whoever is reading this that Total Cards are not a scam, contrary to what stated in other reviews. I've come across Total Cards while looking for Star Wars Unlimited Shadows of the Galaxy pre-orders. They have a pretty good score on this platform, and the price was not bad, so I decided to place an order with them. After I created my account I received an email with a first-time welcome discount. Only problem is that I've noticed it after I had placed the order. I asked support if it was possible to retroactively apply the discount. I received a prompt reply, but I was offered a new discount code for a future purchase (of course it makes sense as a strategy if you want the customer to come back, which is fine by me). The date of the release comes and there are no signs of shipments from Total Cards. Meanwhile I had found another seller with a better price and decided to place an order for a box with them too. Said box was shipped the day before the release and arrived the day after. A few days after the release I messaged Total Cards support to see why I still had no shipment notifications. They once again replied pretty promptly and offered the same reason that was offered to similar reviewers on this platform: "supply issues". I ended up receiving the items I ordered a week after the release. This was not a huge problem for me, but what I have found slightly annoying is that there was no mention at check-out, nor proactive communication of these alleged "supply issues". Based on my experience, because I can find the same items at a better price and shipped timely elsewhere, it's hard to make the case for me to be a returning customer. Like I said, this business has pretty good reviews on this platform, so they must be excelling in some aspects. My advice to Total Cards would be to sort out these "supply issues" first and foremost, and then also look at being more competitive price-wise. Should they manage to improve on these aspects I'd be more than happy to be a returning customer for future pre-orders.

I have spoken to a few of the team at total cards and get told they are still awaiting stock. This is my first time ordering from total cards and maybe my last. I don’t know how they will make up for this but something needs to be done because I am soo disappointed. Something like this just isn’t acceptable

United Kingdom | 15 July 2024It's honestly laughable that a company specifically dealing with card games has managed to over allocate stock resulting in pre-orders not arriving on time. My husband and I spent hundreds pre ordering star wars unlimited booster boxes only to find that they didn't arrive on the release date. This was one thing but the worst part is there has been NO COMMUNICATION from the store / customer service to explain this. Everyone in our friend group who pre ordered from this site hasn't received their boxes, noone received notice via email of delays and everyone who reached out to the live chat service received the same "supply issues" response. I'm sure this particular company will appreciate how unacceptable and disappointing it is to be behind everyone else on a release day and the lack of information and transparency has been ridiculous. We were told stock was due on the Friday we should have already received our boxes, when the order did not update we had to reach out once again on Monday for an update which has now changed to stock being due "within the week". The way they're trying to blame this on suppliers when they have clearly overallocated and are now waiting for additional stock is disgusting. Definitely won't be using this site in future for pre orders or regular orders. Completely let down in service and communication alike.

Personally I buy Pokémon cards and I've never had a problem with the products. They are always packaged well and arrive quickly, I could not recommend them more! 😁

United Kingdom | 19 June 2024Pre ordered an item and they've oversold item as they're response is that the have supply issues. This is the third time this has happened on pre orders for me I won't be using total cards again, and I wouldn't advise anyone else to pre order with them.

United Kingdom | 18 June 2024I wouldn’t recommend this company for pre-orders or anything that is likely to sell out or an item you want that might be time sensitive. Their dispatch is slow and not guaranteed from release day and if they send you the wrong item you have to wait till they receive the item back until you can get the item you paid for. The customer service is lacking as they do not put customers first, even if they made the mistake. I finally received my pre-ordered product 2 and half weeks after the release date. But of course by this time the product had been spoiled online. This ruined the product I purchased as it was advertised to have a secret card that you could reveal once completing the game. It was a great concept that I was excited to experience, so I preordered the product to ensure I had it as early as possible to avoid spoilers and I had planned an evening to play it with friends, which was pointless when the item didn’t arrive in time. The first week no items arrived or any dispatch emails, so I emailed customer service and was told they were still waiting on delivery. However, no one thought to email me to let me know there was a delay with delivery. Then I receive the parcel a few days later. So I thought all good, these things happen. But I opened the parcel to find the wrong item. (a cheaper item was in its place) I messaged the customer service, and waited the weekend for a response (as expected). Monday morning 9 am I get a response to say they will get an investigations team to look into it and get back to me. I then get a response at quarter to 5pm saying that I need to print a postage label and send it back to them. (They don’t send the postage label so I have to wait till the next day before I can even look at getting it printed.) I am upset because I feel like they spent the day working out if I was lying to them or not. Because surely you would just say “sorry for the issues, how can we fix this for you” as a first response. Not spend a whole day (further delay) to just say I need the product we sent you back before we do anything else. Although I had asked for a way to receive the item quicker as I had already waited a long time for the item. (I honestly thought they might say if you purchase the product we sent you by mistake, we could send you your other item out today, or just we’ll send yours out as soon as you have proof of dispatch or something). I was told there was no way other than sending it back and waiting till they receive it (because I agreed to their terms and conditions by ordering the products as stated on their website) and then my ordered product would be sent. I felt my product I had ordered was held to ransom and they cared more about themselves. I just feel like I was not a valued customer but a transaction number. Which is funny because if they had been more considerate, I would have ended up purchasing more. Also be wary, as I don’t think the claims on their website are correct. They claim you receive free items but I did not receive any free items for spending over so much, (I had spent the best part of 100 pounds) so I think this is something they used to do but not any more. Also, Their customer service is not outstanding or unsurpassed and they don’t put the customer first. (As stated on there website) is: “Act with uncompromising honesty and integrity in everything we do” Provide outstanding unsurpassed service to our customers Providing industry changing service which constantly places the customer first. Offer excellent value for money and focus on saving the customer money. But sadly they do not follow their own ethos, as stated on their website. It’s average at best. I just felt disappointed with the service and regretted pre-ordering from this company.
