Extremely expensive service, especially for the product quality delivered. There’s no way to specify, get or guarantee any kind of quality or consistency in parts. But, the price is always the highest they can charge.

SLS printed parts are often times either warped, contains cosmetic defect or bad color dye. Our parts are propreitary but they always have a few employees emailing asking what our parts are for, not sure I trust sending my files to hubs.

The pricing on components is very difficult to beat, but none of my parts met the promised timelines. 1 of the 2 parts arrived late, but were fabricated very well and met our specifications. The 2nd part is yet to arrive. Defects were identified during inspection which created delays at this point well over a month which is 3-4 times the original promised delivery date. Customer service is responsive, but at the end of the day I am still waiting on the parts.

It was easy for me to manufacture my prototype at a very competitive price. The online ordering system from HUBS offers easy tools to upload manufacturing designs and provides a broad choice of materials and several manufacturing processes. I find automatic price estimates very useful for iterating and optimizing the manufacturing cost already before requesting a quotation.

Hubs is an extremelly proffesional company with outstanding customer support. Everything arrived to us as expected and although there were some initial problems, Gregoire made it easy to find a solution that profited both sides. Will deffinitely use again.
