I'd been a tenant with Onerent for almost 3 years. So far, our experience with them has been great. We have been processing rent online and also requested some repairs all via their online portal. Our problems well resolved without any issues or long delays. We have also received a call and emails to provide our rating of the service provided and if the problems were resolved. Agness was very helpful and professional throughout the whole process.

Very sub-par experience over the course of two years. While outsourced network works well in terms of frequency of communication, maintenance requests take months.

Onerent has done an excellent job dealing with my tenants in multiple rentals. They have dealt with repairs and done a great job handling repair contractors. I highly recommend Onerent for property management.

Onerent has been super helpful, even during these trying times. We have had several requests resolved promptly during this period and they have been extremely professional, curteous, and prompt.

We had a great experience and prompt help from Ian on May 27th. We used Onerent to help us with getting a tenant(s) for our rental. Because of COVID-19, procedures were done differently where keys were placed in a lockbox for prospective renters to preview on their own. After the tenants signed the lease, there was no follow through in getting our keys back. I called and emailed but no one got back with me until I called the emergency number and talked to Ian, who was able to give us very prompt service.

I have been with onerent for years although I have not met any one of them face to face. All communications are through phone and email but their work is efficient. Every time tenant move out, they can fill it very soon at market rent rate. The repair request responses quickly. And accounting records are clear.

Let me start by saying I am giving them 1 STAR only because there is no option of NEGATIVE 5 STAR. Now here are some of the reasons for my starting comment. 1- One of the worst customer experiences: when I listed my property they were the first one to approach and I must say they were very persuasive to win by business... I have been getting email and call like every 2 hours ... I don't blame them for that ... but the moment I signed the contract it seems like the company seized to exist. In the past 4 weeks, my first order was to call ONE RENT but either they wont pick up (which is most of the tme) or if someone accidendently picks he or she exuse by saying she is just an operator and will insure someone will call me back ... something that never happened 2- Worst Technology: Being someone who manages data analytics of a major online retailer I see the value of data-driven decision making but your data is as good as the tool you're using the aggregate that. And I must say, I have never seen a company (who strive to be tech-driven) has so many broken systems. I don't how they have integrated their CMS but it is useless, whenever I make any changes to my listing (from the dashboard I have been provided) ... it never gets updated ... (four weeks of telling them mine is a 1 bd 1 ba my listing still says its 1bd 2 ba) Then they have something called OneCast (some sort of bot that is "supposed to" search for comparable properties and suggests you price point) ... well it does everything but that ...several times I have received a report that has my OWN property listed MULTIPLE times as a comparable property ... other times the comparison is like apple to oranges ... no intelligence built what so ever ... and I can go on and on and on ... In the end to summarize my points.. either you have to have a killer technology to enable self serve model or a "Amazon-like" customer empathy to survive AND I DONT THINK ONE RENT HAS EITHER !

Onerent was definitely our advocate during our maintenance requests as renters. Although we didn't get exactly what we wanted, no fault to Onerent, we were able to find a solution that worked for us. They constantly kept us up to date with the progress with our requests and were very friendly and professional on the phone. My family and I would definitely rent with Onerent again in the future.

Was considering using OneRent to manage my property until they convinced me otherwise. They reached out to me when I posted my rental to offer management services. After discussing with them what the terms were I told them to send me the contract to look over and to send me their free rent estimate. They sent me the contract and tried to pressure me to sign up but never sent the estimate. I had to follow up in order to get them to send it to me. Their "free rent estimate" is basically one person looking at comparables and then telling you over the phone what they think it should rent for and then trying to get you to sign once again. It was obviously a sales technique and not very accurate or informative. Their estimate was $300 over what I had it listed for over a month with no inquires. I told them my issues with the contract (termination fee if they fail to find a tenant in a reasonable time frame). They told me they can modify the contract so I figured I would hear them out. While talking to another representative about the contract they ignored my concerns and stuck to a sales pitch. What really ticked me off was they repeatedly cutting me off as I was trying to explain my hesitation. They did not listen to my concerns and just started talking over and arguing with me. It got to the point that I just had to hang up due to frustration. If it is this difficult to deal with them as a landlord I cannot imagine how horrible it would be as a tenant trying to contact them. Hilariously they followed up the phone call with an email asking me to sign the contract once again. Clueless

My husband and I found a rental listed by this company, set up a time to view it, received a confirmation email, and nobody showed up after we drove 6 hours from the Bay Area to Los Angeles to view it. We called 4 different phone numbers and left messages and never got a response. What a scam!! Beware!

Worst and dangerous property management company When they did move-out inspection, they did nothing almost. After they found new tenants, they asked me to clean up the house, which costs my $600, what the hell! It means they did not do anything when doing the move-out inspection and messed up your property when showing candidates.

I located a rental that I like on OneRent and scheduled a viewing right away. The on site representative have zero knowledge of the rental and couldn’t answer any of our questions. She, however, wrote them down and told us she will get back to us. It’s been a week and I’ve followed up with text messages, voicemail, and via online chat, and have gotten no where with them. I have yet receive a phone call or a reply via text. This is very unprofessional.

Onerent responded right away as soon as I clicked the apply button. They helped me get the apartment that I want. They helped communicate the issues I had to the owner and resolve the issues that they could act on immediately without the owner’s prior approval in an emergency situation. Their 24 hour hotline is such a great tool.
