United States | 21 August 2020Worst experience in their customer service And maintenance issues. Whatever emergency you have - fridge filter not working, AC not working or fire alarm not going off. First reply from support is we will share the estimate with the owner and post approval We will take next steps. Me and my family ( baby and a small dog) have been out of AC for 4 days. 2 technician came and issue not fixed yet. Requesting them from the start that please arrange a backup portable AC so that my family can live in the house. ( we are requesting coz of hot weather above 90 during the day and Cali fire so can’t open the windows). Our request is being ignored by the owner and onerent. Requested them to compensate the rent for the days AC was not working - ignored. Any other solution you have for us to live in the house is such weather - no reply, not picking any calls. Please don’t get into the trap with onerent and rather go to any other rental property.

United States | 21 August 2020Onerent made our move so easy! We were worried that things would be more difficult due to the pandemic, but after we decided to take the place, Onerent made things totally seamless, from setting up the lease (and even helping us get a better price for the first month), to making sure that small maintenance issues were addressed promptly. I'm really glad that we chose to go with Onerent and decided to trust them. We've now all moved in and we couldn't be happier with our new home. Marie in particular has been especially helpful and prompt in responding to any issues as soon as they came up. Her friendliness and overall positive demeanor makes a world of a difference.

United States | 20 August 2020Hi Fellow Renters, I wish I had read these reviews before signing a lease with Onerent for a 2 Bed 2 Bath Apartment in San Francisco. I am sure this review will be followed by some detailed explanation from Onerent - none of which make sense. When we moved into our apartment after signing a lease, we found out that the apartment was not in a condition to move in. It took us 3 weeks and almost 20 phone calls of shouting to get a few things fixed. This is after they claimed that there was a thorough inspection done - no evidence of that. We took it lightly and instead spent our money and resources to get it cleaned. Not bad still..... The real issue started when things starting breaking and non functioning. Every maintenance request took more than 2 weeks to get someone's attention. The excuse they say - They have to check with the landlord everytime to figure how to solve "an overflowing toilet", which is more like onerent and landlords arguing among themselves over petty costs. And this is not a cheap rental - I am paying more than $3000 in rent, a lot more. A recent issue made me affirm my decision of not renewing my lease (which I wanted to). They simply dont care anything about the a living experience and are always troubling their renters with petty issues. A recent example being a shower drain that was fixed due to clogged hair - they are asking me to pay for its fix since it is a "user error" whereas the shower drain didnt have a proper cap to begin with and this clogged hair is pretty much an accumulation from years of use. There are many better options to go far than Onerent and I will be doing the same come renewal!!

United States | 18 August 2020I'm a property owner and I highly recommend not to go with Onerent. You will end up paying 50% of the first month rental yet spend plenty of hours talking to them, co-ordinating with them. There is no single point of contact - I spent easily 20+ hours talking to them, emailing them there is not one person whom I spoke for the 2nd time. You will have to explain the whole story to the next person you speak. No ownership! The experience on tenanent is even horrible. There are plenty of good management companies out there. Give opportunities for local businesses. Stay away folks!

United States | 18 August 2020Payment website is A convenient feature; wish Rent One would report my rent payments to the credit bureaus. The gentleman who inspects the property is friendly.

Japan | 16 August 2020We lived in our rental property for almost 4 years. The service and support provided by onerent was excellent. They were professional, had speedy responses and were a great liaison between us and our landlord. I would highly recommended using onerent.

United States | 16 August 2020I’m very pleased working with Onerent , The team are prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. They made house searching so easy for us. Onerent really made us feel like family and like we could count on them for anything. They really goes above and beyond her duties to help you find your house and making sure everything is safe for me and your family! We couldn't have asked for a better realtor than Onerent. I would recommend Onerent to all and everyone who is searching for their perfect and good quality apartment or house. I give Onerent team a big thanks for everything!"

United States | 15 August 2020Overall, it was a positive experience with onerent, however there were times in which it seemed the communication between owner, tenants and one rent was disconnected. I would be talking to the owner and we would come to a common understanding and when communicating with onerent it was a bit disorganized. I will say once April Crisanto took over as the main communicator, things were a lot smoother. She by far was the best employee I interacted with. Overall, would recommend as my feedback was received by onrent and they made adjustments.

United States | 10 August 2020We found our yesterday there is raw sewage flowing into the basement of the house we rent. We can’t flush the toilet, take a bath, run the washing machine, etc. We told Onerent and made it very clear it was a serious emergency. They took a whole day to get back to us and then said a serviceman would be here within another 24 hours. The serviceman never showed and Onerent is just saying they don’t know where he is. Raw sewage is flowing while this is happening now 24+ hours after it was discovered and reported. Onerent in a nutshell.

United States | 08 August 2020Overall I would say ok experience. They have started charging a lot on finding fees (50% of first month rent). They also hav some issues with their accounting where they forget to charge the owner for 1.5 yrs and come back ask owner to pay everything in lump sum.

United States | 05 August 2020One rent is a tech property management company that outsourced all of their maintenance and customer services to the Philippines. The only time you will meet someone from Onerent is during your rental viewing. This person will tell you all of the great things about Onerent and that your rental will be cleaned, painted, and in working condition, but once you move in they are completely void of responsibility an upholding their word. They’re honest from that point, saying the people showing the properties are contracted work that has nothing to do with the rest of the company. We’ve tried to find the good in the company, but we’ve only experienced a company that will pas you off to department after department and won’t resolve issues. They tried charging us $930 for backed up plumbing, it flooded our bathrooms, smelled terrible for days when the plumber was working outside clearing the storm drain blockage he said a large branch for stuck causing the problem. Onerent said the landlord doesn’t want to pay so we are responsible. We’ve also had a broken outlet to the fridge for over 6 months that they will not fix. We use an extension cable from the living room. Haha. It’s truly hilarious how we’ve just accepted that theirs nothing we can do. We had to get used to it and learn to live with it. (Not a great way to explain a property management company) No matter how nice the property is it’s probably not worth it. Take your chance, but PLEASE be cautious working with this company, they love to nickel and dime.

United States | 03 August 2020My fiance and I went through the process to rent in Oakland, CA. The customer service was terrible and the CEO and CFO are corrupt in practice. They refused to let us know why they never contacted us about the apartment we wanted, nor acknowledge we ever used their services. This was 2 years ago and I forgot to write a review here. I reported them to the BBB and they refused to resolve the issue. Thee BBB has rated them an F, check it! They charged us fees, ran our credit reports only to forget we were looking for an apartment. Beware of this small online company.

United States | 30 July 2020Where do I start... so glad I didn’t fill out the application with all my personal information. Called to reschedule a showing and the lady was beyond confused, there were dogs barking and kids in the background so initially I thought I had the wrong number until she found my information. The next day, after about 5 confirmation texts/emails as to time & place FROM OneRent, we drive across town, wait 20 minutes... no agent in site... I call to confirm, “he’s on his way” “Okay can you please have him call me?” “he’ll call you” another 20 minutes... no call ever received, no one ever showed up. No follow up call with a reason, no email, no apology. Beyond awful service, you can be sure I’ll be spreading the word to friends and family to avoid OneRent.

United States | 29 July 2020The problem is that there is no live person, this service is run by automation/robots. When I did speak to a live person they had no information on the rental. One Rent expects you to make a showing appointment without having any questions answered. Therefore creating a waste of time. It would take an hour out of my day to tour a property and hope that it had what I needed because no one can answer my questions unless I go on a tour. Personally, in my experience, I need to speak to someone knowledgeable about a property before I tour it. Rentals in San Diego are valued at very high rates and these are peoples investments. Personally, I would not want a robot with no knowledge on lease terms or amenities to manage my million dollar home. Property Management is a personalized service. If you want someone real with years of experience call me and my company AMSI San Diego.
