OneRent support is really good. They did frequent follow ups, and also try to address your concerns pretty fast. Overall leasing experience was smooth ranging from seeing apartment, signing lease, and configure payments. I will definitely recommend Onerent.

I had posted a four-star review earlier but I'm changing it to five now that my property is rented. Onerent did yeoman's work through the pandemic to promote and show my property, find and vet good tenants, handle the move-in inspection and necessary repairs, and provide a transparent accounting of the fees and expenses involved. Their staff has been professional and responsive throughout the process. I believe that I've received good value for their fees, especially given the extraordinary circumstances under which they had to work for the last few months. I can without hesitation recommend Onerent to manage your rental property.

They have not responded to my emails since last week. They did not return my deposit within the legally required 21 days. They did not resolve the many maintenance issues I dealt with for long periods of time. It took over a month to fix termites coming through my kitchen ceiling. They took a big chunk of my deposit for “cleaning” even though the place was cleaned and with no receipts. Do not trust them with your deposit.

I requested more information about doing a viewing of an apartment after seeing it listed on a different website. The next morning at 8 AM an employee with OneRent started calling me multiple times and demanding when I could stop by, even after stating I needed to speak with my partner about it. Today, the same guy called me again starting at 8 AM. It’s not even 9 and he’s called me twice. This is intrusive and doesn’t inspire confidence in a future potential landlord.

will never rent through onerent Super bad experience with onerent. I submitted 2 applications in total. I have to follow up with them for the response. They only follow up closely with us for chasing us to signing lease as soon as possible within 24 hours by calling and calling and paying as early as possible within 24 hours by texting and calling and emailing. We agreed in lease to get half of the rent for first month But charged us the full amount and told us to deduct in June2020. Now is mar2020..

Overall completely unacceptable experience as the landlord. 3 major issues are listed below. 1. Overpromise (lie) to the landlord to trick us to sign the contract: during our first conversation on the day 3 after signing the contract, they told us that most services they promised before contract signing can not be executed. 2. Slow termination process: before signing the contract, we were told the termination can be applied immediately (within 24 hours) after we request during the listing period. The fact is we have informed Onerent though phone call, email, txt, multiple times (the earliest request was sent out 1 week ago), it was still not processed. 3. Onerent still markets our property to their renter after we informed them to terminate the contract. This is the worst part, potentially illegal. We never agreed on how Onerent would list our property: in our first conversation to discuss listing details, we found they could not provide most services they have promised, so we decided to terminate the contract. One week after clearly stating to terminate the contract, the sales specialist told us that they are promoting our house on their website and sending our house information to their renter. We highly doubt if this practice is legal. What we would like to do now is to terminate the contract as soon as possible. Look forward to hearing from the crew who can truly execute. 03242020 update: the termination was eventually processed. We contacted the escalation manager in onerent today to discuss the above mentioned issue and ask to process termination. He acknowledged and apologized for all mistakes from onerent side, and promised to complete termination today. Two hours later, we received the Esign document for termination with termination fee waived. The contract was finally terminated. Our case was luckily handled by the right person and closed down eventually. We suggest onerent to seriously reconsider their business mode, especially in a industry where the reputation is the key.

After signing the service contract with Shen, the Onerent's sales lady, I was redirected to lease manager to arrange advertising the property. Then I found there are some discrepancies between the reality that the lease manager told me and what the sales lady previously promised. Confused, I tried to reach out to Shen multiple times to get things clarified. But, she did not return any of my emails and text message since. Then I picked up the phone to call her, only be be answered by her co-worker, who routed to another co-worker, who routed to yet another co-worker, who told me Shen was in a lunch break (6PM in the afternoon) and was unavailable to answer. I left message asking her to call me back. And then, wait and wait, she still did not call back. This is the worst experience I have ever had. The sales lady Shen was dishonest and disrespectful. I felt insulted and annoyed. Because of this experience I totally lost confidence that Onerent could provide the kind of quality service as advertised. I canceled the contract with Onerent immediately afterwards.

As an owner, I started out skeptical but ended up pleasantly surprised with OneRent. The process works. They follow protocol to the core and I realized that being patient is the only option. Here are some details(good & bad) that may help other owners who are considering OneRent: Staff & support: The staff is based in Philippines. I got assigned a leasing agent and a maintenance specialist and these 2 individuals remained my single point of contact till the property was leased. Excellent communication and quite responsive 'only' Mon to Fri both by email or phone. After my property was leased and tenants moved in, I am now assigned a Customer Success Associate for any follow up Qs/issues. Leasing: My property was listed on 03-Feb-2020 and we had an approved tenant on 01-Mar-2020 which was pretty good given several competing properties in the area and competitive rent amount. Good thing is that, instead of only weekend open houses, they do showings daily as and when scheduled by prospective tenants. I had a dashboard on the portal where I could see number of showings/applications. In less than 30 days, there were 35+ showing requests of which ~20 were successful. Dashboard/portal: is 'ok' and can be improved. Basically, when the property was in the market, it showed me only 3 numbers - # of Interests, # of Showing requests and # of Applications. No details which blinded me and made me restless for few weeks. I would have liked bit more visibility of 'showing status'/'no-shows' but for this information was dependent on the leasing agent assigned to me. Again, patience was the key here. My leasing agent provided updates when I asked. Maintenance: They provided an inspection report with recommendations. Reasonable pricing from their Home Services team and the best part is with their digital lockbox I could send my own vendors anytime for estimates and to get jobs done. Having one point of contact with the assigned Maintenance Specialist really helped. Ralph Orbigozo did a fabulous job of coordinating everything. So far I am glad I chose OneRent.

Do NOT work with this company. They are the worst. They try to charge you for ridiculous fees upon move out. I had my condo professionally cleaned when I moved out. I took 20 pics to show them how immaculately it was. And the cleaning service invoice. I only lived there for 6 months and had to relocate with job. They dragged their feet for weeks about returning deposit. I sent the pics and statements from witnesses. They kept avoiding. I finally had to threaten with law suit. They are not an honest or reputable company. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. !!

Onerent is literally the worst. I've had it with them. Got so frustrated I had to curse them out over the phone. 1. I show up to view this house. No agent is there and I wait for 45 min until they cancel. No one even apologizes. 2. The agents that work there are completely incompetent. No one knows anything and they can't even speak proper English. They never answer your questions directly, they always convolute their answers. 3. They claim to be a "technology-enabled" company, yet, their website doesn't even work properly. 4. I applied for a house that they told me would be $3900 a month. After my application got processed, they send me a text saying that the rent is actually $4365 and the cost to move in is $10,730. This is when I lost it. Completely absurd. NEVER RENT WITH ONERENT.

This is a WARNING...NEVER, EVER, EVER, USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. Beware of this place at all costs. I will be filing a BBB complaint and lawsuit will follow concerning this unscrupulous company. I will Warn every single person, especially us landlords and many tenants to never, ever rent or do biz with these horribly unorganized ppl ever and i will make this my sole priority in life. They lie, lie, lie, lie about every thing. Promising things that they never supply and when you call them out on their lies they ask if you want to breach contract agreement, why? They take your money and deliver nothing at all but lies and need to be closed down asap. They have hundreds of staff answer phones and you never speak to 1 person on top of these calls seem to all involve Philipinos or others not from the USA. They seem to know NOTHING about nothing concerning these properties, nor do they have answers, just a bait and switch sending calls to all over if you ask me. Some reps apologize for the horrible things they are doing @ this company, but for the most part, they shuffle you from 1 dept to the other without any resolution and it's quite disturbing dealing with these ppl. I wonder how many lawsuits they have against them? I have spent 6 hours reading and Looking at BBB reviews and also Trustpilot reviews and what a freaking wakeup call I received, I'm appalled at the whole experience. They no longer have Yelp or Google reviews, i wonder why, no i know why, they are scammers. They lie about saying who they are and really only hire substandard contractors or vendors and forget about ppl to clean your places, they apparently dont hire anyone for that. Hopefully they arent charging us landlords or tenants for these repairs and cleaning and pocketing the monies because that will come out at some time....with a nice lawsuit. I am so very sorry I didn't read any reviews on these ppl and I will never, ever, ever again deal with them and will absolutely use my last breath to WARN EVERYONE VIA EMAIL, IN PERSON, ONLINE and other other way to get them to find a reputable PM. They have so many different phone numbers, they spam you via emails, texts, phone calls and that should have been my 1st warning. 197 reviews on Trustpilot and almost all of them are lies except the 1star ones, I believe ppl would give ZERO stars if they had them and they absolutely deserve it, worst PM company EVER. Just type in Onerent reviews, you will get all kinds of information about them and they are all 1 star responses, that'll tell you to RUN quickly, they will turn into NoRent soon enough. Buyer BEWARE, you've been Warned!

My issue is still not fixed. I'm not sure why i'm being asked for review at this time. Whether an issue is an emergency or not, the time to fix takes over a month which is completely unacceptable. If you're actually interested in constructive feedback that you wil take action upon to improve your process, then please feel free to reach out. Otherwise, I expect you'll treat this like any other half-hearted process you employ in this company

The experience of leasing our rental house was tedious and cumbersome. The website advertises free easy online applications. But after entering all of our information online we had to answer the same questions by text, email, and over the phone (twice). We had multiple people reaching out via multiple methods for the same information. It seems like they have overseas customer service agents and robo-text/email systems rather than actual qualified property management agents. It was difficult to understand people over the phone, and the automated messages were not well organized. Also, it is not free. Once you get approved, they charge $50 per person to process your lease.
