So surprised to find a large furniture store in a town we have never visited before. Really good customer service so bought 2 sofas and a bed when only calling into look round.

Visited Taskers lovely showroom on 30th September 22 when the sale was on , customer services employee Malcolm was extremely helpful , we purchased a Stressless chair and a magazine rack. Delivered 14th October, again two very friendly employees. Very satisfied

Fabulous firm. After weeks of scouring the North West furniture stores we found Taskers. We knew we wanted a SITS (Swedish Firm) sofa and they had the best selection by a great margin. Really helpful, knowledgeable and normal sales staff who showed us their stock alongside similar brands or comparable quality. Left us to explore and helped when needed getting us to clarify our thoughts on exactly what we wanted. Vast selection of top quality contemporary furniture plus great prices and internet free credit deals. Very happy customers, would highly recommend this family firm!!!

I ordered a Daewoo halogen heater at an excellent price. The service was good and the heater arrived well packed and quickly. I cannot fault this company. I really wanted to leave a review for Daewoo but can’t find that on Trustpilot and in addition, I did not buy from them directly. I need to make it clear that this is not a criticism of Taskers. The heater is efficient and does what it claims, which is warm a small space fast. There are some issues with it though. The flex is very short so I have to use an extension lead. The brightness of the heating element is blinding. It is searchlight bright and quite a distraction. Also, the carry handle is very shallow so that the heater could easily slip out of your hand and get damaged. It is also quite flimsy; very light with rough plastic fittings. I am just grateful that I didn’t pay the £25 average that some retailers ask and that Taskers are a competitive company. I paid £10 which I think is about right. I am quite pleased with the heater but it is cheap and cheerful and not worth a fancy price.

Bought a kingside bed when delivered the mattress was damaged,it was replaced today 10th October with no problems at all. The store staff and delivery staff are very helpful and polite. Have bought a lot from them recently and more to come. Thank you Taskers.

Too much choice of mattresses but the sales staff went through them with me and were very helpful at finding the right one for me.

Delivery guys phoned to say when they would be delivering the mattress. All went well.

Loved the amount of choice in the shop and staff really understood their products. I was given the time I needed and all the information to help me make a decision.

Recently bought carpets for two rooms. The choice at the showrooms was excellent and advice from Phil was unobtrusive but very knowledgeable. Price very fair, delivery was exactly on time and the superb fitting team ensured a first class result. No need to look elsewhere for carpets or flooring.

We visited Taskers with a view to purchasing 2 Leather Sofas and was given a warm welcome on entry to their store. The staff were not over powering and allowed us to browse at our leisure and when advice was required, we were given honest answers and advice. There are mountains of sofas out there on the market offering unbelievable prices but unless you are featherweight expect most to break within months as staples and balsa wood don't make for a great structure. OK you may pay more for furniture from Taskers but you very much get what you pay for which is very wise in the long run.

Wanted a difficult wood stain SKOVBY sideboard. Taskers checked reference number and colour. They sorted out availability and also sorted out for delivery men fixing a drawer on furniture they had sold me way back in 2004

We have just had our hallway and downstairs cloakroom fitted with Luvanto floor tiles (Country Oak, in herringbone design) which we chose from Taskers. Phil from Taskers advised us that the process was much more involved than the laying of laminate boards so it would take longer to fit. On the Monday afternoon, floor coverings and grippers were cleared. The next morning, a Latex screed was applied to level the surface, and left to harden. Tile-laying then took two days to complete. The result is stunning. We were very impressed with the skill, the patience and the consideration shown by fitters Steve and Callum. They worked meticulously to cut, glue and fit every tile individually over a substantial area. It was very tricky in parts as there were uneven walls, lots of corners, staircase posts, and sanitary wear to negotiate. They kept us informed, and they kept everything clean and tidy throughout. A fantastic job.
