United States | 13 November 2020I needed a new Mac when my old iMac started acting up. I didn’t want to pay for a new machine when I could get a perfectly good one at almost half the price of new. I shopped around on Apple and considered a new and a refurbished Macbook Pro. I found just the machine that would serve my needs right on Macs4U.com at a much better price than Apple could offer. I ordered it and the follow up from Macs4U was excellent. I added the 2 year warranty that was pretty much Apple Care in coverage. My new looking and performing MacBook Pro was shipped the same day and arrived when they said it would in perfect condition. They followed up on my order to make sure everything was great and I was happy with my purchase. I was VERY happy. I saved $2000 and got an awesome Mac. I was skeptical about buying a used Mac from a site I’d never purchased from, but these folks are honest, great to work with and you save money. What could be better? More cowbell?

I couldn't find a comparable item to price check, but on other items their prices are the best. The shipping was well documented and on time, from far away. For Mac items, i would look no further.

United States | 10 November 2020The 2014 iMac I purchased is exactly what I was expecting. It is in great condition and works well. I bought a keyboard and mouse too. Also in great condition. I researched many different companies when deciding where to purchase a used Mac from. Macs4u.com had the best reviews by far. They sent follow up emails AND called to confirm my order. Delivery was by FEDEX and came quickly. The only hiccup in the otherwise flawless transaction is the delivery was supposed to have someone sign for it but FEDEX just left it on my porch. Luckily I came home within an hour of delivery. I definitely recommend Macs4u.com and would purchase from them again.

Their customer service is great as well, upon ordering they personally contacted me to let me know what to expect as far as delivery and if I have any issues just call them and they will resolve it. United States | 31 October 2020My new (used) Macbook Pro is doing great. It arrived via UPS or FedX (sorry I don't remember) in a couple days. It was free shipping. FREE. I ordered on a Fri and it was delivered on Monday. What I loved the most about Macs4u is this. They called and emailed me a day after my purchase to let me know the Macbook Pro was arriving Monday and that it NEEDED my signature upon receipt of delivery. Then after delivery Macs4u contacted me to AGAIN to see how everything was going. THEY CONTACTED ME! Imagine. Customer service BEFORE I needed it. I was blown away. I spend too much time on the phone or online with Yahoos, or computer voices...hell I gave up on AT&T for that very reason. (T-Mobile is great by the way, three rings and a person answers your call. A PERSON!). I would recommend Macs4u to anyone. 5 stars baby!

I am just not always willing to pay these high prices for a new one, when one that is maybe a year old will do the exact same thing. My son found Macs4u.com and it has been THE place for Apple Computers! Some things to ponder: 1. Their selection - they have such a WIDE variety of systems to choose from AND you can choose the OS version! 2. Their pricing - They are very competitive in their prices and most of the time LOWER! 3. Ease of purchase - You have the means, you have the item! 4. Shipping - They ALWAYS ship and pack the computers perfectly and when it arrives to you, it will be JUST as you've ordered and READY to use! United States | 25 October 2020First the good, the technical support from IT was responsive. They went through troubleshooting with me and spent hours trying to help me with all the difficulties getting the iMac up and running (multiple times, many hours, over several days). However, in the end, the actual refurbished computer (iMac with fusion drive) was a lemon. After I lost a full week of productivity trying to make the computer work, Macs4u authorized a return. But, they then charged me an exorbitant restocking fee for a defective computer. The iMac was unable to wake up after sleeping. After going into sleep mode, instead of waking, I would find the computer completely unresponsive. The only option was a forced restart in recovery mode, which would reveal that the computer had rejected the operating system or the hard drive (flashing “no” symbol or flashing folder with a “?” ). These errors require wiping the computer & rebuilding the whole computer. I even resorted to physically driving the machine to their local HQ for an expert rebuild & reinstall, but with the same result: a full system failure after sleep. The returns department tried to blame the instability issue on my migrated data & an older program, however this is completely unjustified. My programs and data worked just fine on my MacPro and since returning the defective iMac from macs4u, I have purchased a Mac Mini that is running my migrated profile just fine with zero issues. The problem was not which version of macOS, or my migrated data, or certain software, it was a lemon of a computer. These types of hardware problems can and do occur,— as my grandma used to say it’s not whether problems happen, it’s how you handle them, that matters. What can’t be justified and is the source of my grievance was their refusal to stand behind their warranty. The website states (1) that hardware is covered under warranty and (2) that warranty returns are not charged a restocking fee. I have since learned that the fusion drives are particularly unstable and prone to failure. If Macs4u had followed their own policies and refunded the full purchase price, I would be giving a different review here, despite losing so much work time trying to make the defective iMac work. After making up for the lost productivity, I probably would even have purchased a replacement from them, but a computer without the fusion drive. Instead, after working double time to make up for my lost week, I went to a different retailer and purchased a computer with a solid state hard drive and I have had zero problems. An expensive lesson indeed. From the website: “Our warranty is a hardware warranty and covers every component of the computer including the AC charger to work as designed and are covered against mechanical and electrical failures. Simple as that!” (1) “If the refund is based on a warranty issue, the restocking fee is waived. “ (2)

I felt confident reviewing their descriptions to go ahead and place an order. I opted to chose expedited shipping that would have placed delivery on the weekend which wasn't an option from Fedex. I received a phone call immediately to inform me of my options and thanking me for my order. Great customer service seems like a pipe dream these days, but the folks over at Macs4U go out of their way to ensure you are well supported and that you are happy with your purchase. My 2017 15" Macbook Pro showed up well packed, looked nearly brand new, and hasn't had a single issue. I was hesitant spending this kind of money on a machine that I haven't seen or put through its paces, but I would not hesitate to order from them again.
