I would typically give them 5 stars but I had trouble getting responses to a couple of emails this time around. I actually booked several events myself because we were coming in late in the season for whale watching and needed to book before their last events were on our day of arrival.

We used Tom Barefoot’s Tours for 2 activities when we were in Maui last month— a whale watching tour & a luau. They were both well-organized & enjoyable, would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour company. The 2 guides we had were very friendly, informative, and interactive. Our tour was very entertaining and we had plenty of time to stop and take pictures, enjoy the scenery, and get interesting information from the guides, both as a group and individually. The tour company itself has tours that fit all budgets and times, so we were impressed with the flexibility. Next time we go to Hawaii we'll definitely book with this company.

We were in Maui to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday... “Hawaii-50” with 3 couples. After much research, we decided on Tom Barefoot’s Tours and we had a great time on the Moolokini snorkel trip. The food was excellent, the staff on board was welcoming and accommodating. The snorkeling was the best we have seen in years with tons of fish, gorgeous coral and even a swimming Moray eel. The water was perfectly clear and we adults had a blast using the slide to play after we finished snorkeling. The drinks were strong and the weather perfect, a highlight of our trip. We highly recommend this company.

What a cool way to whale watch! Our guides were awesome, knowledgeable and fun! The raft flies over the waves, and does jostle you some when your land, so I would definitely recommend this for someone who doesnt have back problems. We had two people on our whale watching raft who were older and they really struggled. Also, the material of the raft gave my sister and I a bad rug burn on the backs of our thighs. I would recommend wearing pants, we had shorts on and the friction from the water and the material didn't mix well for us! All in all, I thought this was a ton of fun and an adventurous way to see whales up close, and to have fun doing it!
