Easy info lookup. Love the hints. Lots of data sources.

I found a couple of things

Hard to navigate. Keep creating duplicate people with no way to merge records.

Ease of using FMP New layout since last subscribed Great records esp parish records

The data available is very comprehensive and the site is easy to navigate however the subscription fee is too high for a pensioner like myself. I wouldn't hesitate to subscribe if the cost was considerably lower. I do understand why your cost is high but doesn't excuse the fact that fixed income clients are unable to afford the cost.

I'd love to be able to rate FMP 5 stars, but you need more Irish records, including outmigration to North America.

Really valuable resource for anyone looking to research family history. Easy to use and subscription/free trial is very transparent.

Good online service

Great information available and a very user friendly experience

Sometimes the details of, for example, Births Deaths and Marriages fall short. No details of for instance the wife or the parents etc. These are available on other sites. Otherwise you are very good.

Fairly good site but database before 1860s is poor.

I would preffer if you could produce actual pages from BDM lists instead a list of four or more people whom a person may have married or just the page and volumes numbers of the record

I'm unimpressed. The FindMyPast subscription that comes with the New York Genealogy & Biography membership is supposed to include UK resources but I'm giving prompts I don't have access to UK information. I'm just not finding any more information than I've found on Ancestry or other information I have.

Directed to the Subscription page when clicking to view Transcript or Image not every time! However, there I am told 'You are on the highest level' or words to that effect I do not understand. I have been put off using FindMyPast even though my subscription has 'till 24 June 2024. Please advise. Kind regards. Eileen
