I have raised the request online for an emergency where I am not able to use my shower/toilets/sinks in both my bathrooms. IT IS A DAMN EMERGENCY. They could not find a contractor who can service it same day/24 hrs. But they keep closing the request and re-opening the request everytime I call customer care and keeping moving the appointments.

This is swindlers. They don’t do anything according contract. When something happen, they make fake report and denied to pay. After this review First American Home Warranty started investigation. We have found, technician did wrong report. Home Warranty asked to come back and fix my problem. First, technician denied to replace faucet . When contractor sent technician with supervisor, they replaced faucet.

I have been their customer for 8 years and it’s been 8 years of fighting to get anything major fixed. According to the vendors they don’t pay them in a timely manner so most of the vendors don’t want to mess with them. My well pump died last night and they assigned someone who doesn’t even service my area and didn’t contact me. I am now being told they have another 24 hours to find someone to fix I called and someone is coming in 1 hour. I just can’t fight to get what I paid for anymore!

It's always pretty easy to get services needed. Generally, the only hold up is we are in a rural area so response by the assigned contractor isn't always fast.

Well let me start by saying again this company SUCKS. I had/have an issue with a valve in my garage and i made a claim on 12/10/24 and still looking for a fix. I had a leak in the system somewhere and could not find it. Called First American Home Warranty (FAHW) and they said they did not do any leak detection and I would have to call someone that did. I called Rooter Ranger and they came out within 24 hours and diagnosed a valve in the garage that open and running (so it was faulty). So I made a claim and basically wrote down everything Rooter Ranger told me. FAHW again in their 1 star operational manual send out a plumber who tells me it is in the landscape box. I can tell you 1300 gallons a day of water does not run through a sprinkler valve box because the yard would be a big mud pit. So FAHW sends notice it is a landscape issue without doing a diagnostic with the information that I really basically handed them from Rooter Ranger. All that needed to be done was a verification for them to see if RR's diagnosis was correct. Did not even look at valve in the garage. I called FAHW and explained what RR told me and read it straight from their information. The lady on the other line says they do not cover any valves in the garage because it is not within the "Live in Perimiter". HMMM so I ask if my water heater which i have had replaced by them at other properties is in my garage why did you fix that since it was not within the live in perimeter. She put me on hold and came back and said that the valve was covered. Weird huh. I even had a landscape company come out and check the sprinkler valve for a leak and there was no leak in the valve. So here I wait almost another month with a water bill that is astronomical 3 times more than what I usually pay and no fix. So I will have another huge water bill this month. Still have not heard from the plumber who was to go out the week before Christmas to re-evaluate and still waiting to hear from them as well. If you wonder who that plumbing company here ya go. My original service request was given to blue diamond plumbing. Please do not give them your business they use low rated contractors, and you would think after giving them my money for more than 20 years I continue going to them I guess, mainly for convenience. I am going to have to start shopping around for a new one. Yeah well I sent your team member the attachments and still nothing

This company is a joke. I had a leaking diswasher and I was not able to close the valve from under the kitchen sink. They way to prevent water from leaking on to floor was to close the water to the entire house. That is to say the matter was urgent. I filed a service request on 12/27 and only got an appointment on 01/04 (for an urgent issue). The service was assigned to a contractor called 'A Go appliances'. The service window was from 10am - 1pm. Nobody showed up during the service interval. This was on Saturday and the 'A Go appliances' customer service closes at 2pm and so could not call them. Next Monday morning I call 'A Go appliances' and they don't have any appointment to provide. 'A Go' has a rating of 1 star on yelp. Called up First American Home warranty's customer service line - had to be on hold for 20mins. Once connected, they also have nothing solid to offer - other that they will try with a different company. update: Provided information requested. Zero action taken! They do not care .
