I was told the service company would contact me to set up an appointment. They didn't call, you sent me the date and time for the appointment, then in checking with the company, you gave me the incorrect day & time for the appointment. I had to change my incorrect info that you had given me.

This company has been very responsive. I did recognize that if there is not a company responding locally they will reach out outside the local area in order to respond to the customer needs. My last experience was not the greatest but the work still got done in a somewhat reasonable manner. I am still overall very pleased with this company.

They have been very responsive and delivered the service as needed. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because there are some hidden costs that you only find out when repairs are needed (such as the permit to change gas water heater). Also, while some of their subcontractors are great, some I would never use if I had a choice! All things considered, I highly recommend First American Home Warranty.

Technician arrived and appeared annoyed when we told him what previous plumber discovered to be the problem 6 months earlier. He partially snaked the main line and left. I ran some water and the pans under the water heater immediately filled up. I messaged the Dispatcher that the problem was still occurring. I was told he could come back out the following Tuesday. Today, Tuesday, I messaged the Dispatcher confirming things were still on schedule. I was informed that I had received an email from FAHW declining repairs of $7,992. I had not received said email. Technician had not identified any repairs needed when he was here. When he left he claimed the problem was fixed. When I logged in to my service request, status still read as approved. It is my opinion they did not want to send him back out to complete the repair and lied about the status of the claim and also never informed me our appointment today was not being honored. We are now over a week without hot water and I will never trust Affordabe Leak Detection again with repairs to my home. If they appear on another claim I will cancel it until I get a different company. *Following my several messages to them, and since this review, they rescheduled their technician to come back out this afternoon. Pending final completion.

I called on a Thursday afternoon around 3 pm my hot water went cold. I informed the representative that I did not ever want the plumbing company assigned to repair my garbage disposal to ever come to my home again. The hot water job was assigned to the exact same company and when I called for their next available appointment it would be sometime on the following Monday. I called and spoke with a rep at 1St American and told them the problem, find another vendor, representative stated she would call to see of they could come sooner. Friday, Saturday, no response from 1st American, contacted someone to come look at my issued and it was resolved. I immediately called and cancelled the appointment, and the next business day, call and cancelled my contract with them. When cancelling they have all the answers to get an issue resolved. No, I need it resolved when I call within a reasonable time frame. This company his HORRIBLE, RUN do not USE them. Representatives stay on script and do not have any compassion or concern with the needs of the customer. No hot water is a big issue and to go from Thursday to Monday or when ever is unacceptable. Reference Work Order #314047921. This is a real work order and a REAL issued needed resolving. I closed my account based on this issue alone, God for bit it would be a HVAC issue in the middle of summer or winter.

The immediate company response and the last contractor assigned was great. I've had him before and would welcome them again.
